I just searched the lad and got the below tweet - so for that reason, I’m IN.

Looks very entertaining to me..would be a miracle if he joined us over the Serie A champions but we know the draw of the Prem.

But Fabrizio said he was joining Inter last August?

Surprised he hasn’t deleted that - that’s what the likes of him normally do… What went wrong with that transfer? I assume he was in Milan as Fab’s style is to nick info off good other sources then claim it his own…

Done my usual thing of reading and watching everything I can on a player and I REALLY like this guy.
Left footed. Likes to play centrally and in the inside right channel. Definitely an attack minded player. Takes loads of shots. Really good close control. Uses his body very well and seems very good at beating at least the first defender. Technically great. Good decision making.
Attacking playmaker who seems like a Szoboslzai regen (although he is right footed). One of those players who looks to get on the ball as much as possible. I think we miss that a little centrally.
Set piece specialist.
Could make a real difference to our final third play.
Many of us would probably think we don't need a genuine number 10 (or that they even have a role in the modern game) but I think the lack of control we often have when Lallana isn't playing highlights the need for that kind of option. Facundo might be that one day but doesn't quite have the physicality or nous for it right now.
Really we hope we pull this one off.

Doesn’t follow our usual transfer strategy but Plettigoal are a very decent, usually reliable source and are often quoted by the snake Romano. Could have potential this one
21 yr old gifted player, would seem very much to fit our strategy, if the price is right.

He does look very good in the highlight reels.

You can also see from his game time that he has moved from a sub to first choice in the last 18 months.

But my caveat would be something Tim Vickery was banging on about with Barco. He does not see him as a left back for us, he thinks we’ll change his position.

Looking at this lad’s competencies, perhaps we’d view him as the cover for March during his long term absence? He strikes me as a similar player. Great left foot, enough speed and strength to survive on the wing in the EPL and a bag of tricks up his sleeve but clearly better than Solly at set-pieces.

I don’t think he has the playmaker, vision and passing game of Facundo but he is a different type of player.

That's an amazing highlights reel. It seems he just get the ball with his back to goal, turns 180 degrees, beats three players and then shoots.
It's like something off a computer game. Even though it's a highlights reel with several clips being repeated many times he still does it in a lot of different games.

Someone needs to get RDZ to give him a call and tell him what the lad what he needs to do.
i.e. easyJet to LGW asap and jump in a taxi to Lancing.

It's a yes from me.

I agree player profile wise he’s exactly our strategy!

I meant more so we are usually under the radar until the final details and that we rarely get into battles with other clubs

Best of Udinese to sell him OUT of Serie A and get a bigger % sell on with us (because we’d surely sell him at a higher price?

Looks like this one is down to the player.

A phone call from De Zerbi incoming?

A ‘late hijack’ certainly seems opposite to our usual MO. Smells like the agent trying to get more money out of Napoli by using us. I’m not getting my hopes up on this one.

That is a regurgitation from a dubious source based in Napoli with fewer than 2600 followers on twitter, the original link suggesting we are still actively trying to hijack the deal is from a far more reliable source, with 260,000 followers.
