Sony Vaio

The Powerbook is made by Sony. Its underpowered and overpriced. Its still a Sony though, and hence is a decent machine. Shame about the OS.

I have to say I like the newest AlBook's look - the older Powerbooks looked rank...

My Compaq hasn't broken down or refused to do anything I want it to yet, and I've had it about a year. That makes it quite good in my books, if that helps at all.

I've got a Vaio. I have had two and both have been fine. This one is getting on a bit but will have to do for a while longer.

You have to keep the TFT very, very clean on a Vaio; but when it is clean, the picture is excellent - as the name suggests, the black is BLACK, not dark grey.

My white poycarbonate iBook is FANTASTIC. shoot me then, you sad sad man...

I've got one myself. Its too small, and its too slow. And it doesn't work well with non-Apple made OS's

It was cheap, though

You're the first Mac user to actually make the connection between the polycarbonate and what it refers to, BTW
