He probably doesn't read north stand chat that often but thank you for signing my sons autograph book and then taking him on the players coach and getting the rest of the lads autographs, what a gent.

Good luck tomorrow.

Fair play to him, but "He probably doesn't read north stand chat that often", since when did he? ???

Must be pissed off that he plays for Brighton. Can't score a goal, 8th in the Championship and a CB that is a total liability. The only reason he'd be happy here is because of Bridge and Bruno.

Although I have no complaints about him, he's hardly had a storming season after a great start. Been a little disappointed tbh.

Much much better than others we have had but how many blinding saves has he made in the last few months??

I'm not convinced he's shown the form to have a queue of Premier league clubs trying to sign him.

Perhaps we're already taking him for granted a bit too much? He held onto a shot vs Forest that Brez and Casper would've flapped at or let through for a goal.

You might have a point but I'm struggling to remember the last time he made a save he had no right to, I've seen quite a few opposition keepers doing this though.

This is just an observation, as I said I'm quite happy with him but he's not proved to be as good as I thought he'd be when I heard we'd signed him. That save against Cardiff is the sort of save I'm missing

Wasn't he at Watford for most of last season?

To be fair on him, he hasn't had that many shots against him that he could do one of those saves with. If you look at the last two games, he did nothing wrong against Forest and apart from the two goals against Millwall (which were unstoppable), he didn't have many shots against him.

I've seen him in most games this season - he's saved more points than CM-S should have gained.
£zippo v £3m. Total VFM.
End of.

If you look at most of the goals we've conceded, most of them are proper quality finishes, like right in the corners, rarely does he make a mistake. Unlike other keepers we've had...

Exactly. I am struggling to think of a goal we've conceded as a result of a TK mistake which is a rarity for a keeper at any level. He's definitely by far the best keeper I've seen at the Albion.

maybe its because our defence has tightened up sufficiently so fewer efforts are on target thereby negating his intervention ? Woody's first goal was so close in and well placed
making a save almost impossible and not many keepers would have got to the "worldy" second would they?

Nope but he looked a bit "flappy" in the 1st half at Charlton. Maybe I'm alone here but as I said I am struggling to remember the last time he pulled off a world class save, hence my doubts that he is on the radar of Premier League clubs. It was the assumption that he would be off if we didn't get promoted that made me post.

He is so much better than any of the keepers we have had for a few years but he is not having a blinding season. He hasn't made massive gaffes, that's for certain. Steady and pretty safe and confidence inspiring for the defence but not outstanding in a way that would have clubs queuing up to sign him.
