Nope but he looked a bit "flappy" in the 1st half at Charlton. Maybe I'm alone here but as I said I am struggling to remember the last time he pulled off a world class save, hence my doubts that he is on the radar of Premier League clubs. It was the assumption that he would be off if we didn't get promoted that made me post.

He is so much better than any of the keepers we have had for a few years but he is not having a blinding season. He hasn't made massive gaffes, that's for certain. Steady and pretty safe and confidence inspiring for the defence but not outstanding in a way that would have clubs queuing up to sign him.
fair enough, have a good Christmas anyway.

You might have a point but I'm struggling to remember the last time he made a save he had no right to, I've seen quite a few opposition keepers doing this though.

This is just an observation, as I said I'm quite happy with him but he's not proved to be as good as I thought he'd be when I heard we'd signed him. That save against Cardiff is the sort of save I'm missing

What about when AEA tried to rocket one past him a few weeks ago? That was a point blank reaction save.

Brilliant. Someone starts a thread praising one of our players for being such a good bloke (as well as a top 'keeper) and it turns into a binfest pointing out all of his supposed flaws. Only on the new North Stand Chat.
