Kuipers injured in car crash - He's okay though

Raphael Meade said:
i hope he's not in any trouble if it was with a police car.

i feel SOOO sorry for him, he's having such a crap time at the moment, first being forced to move up north and now he's badly hurt in a crash.

not that its more important than his health, but i think we should start a campiagn to have him reinstated as no 1, for when he's better, to cheer him up like...

get well soon michel. we all LOVE you x
Once he's fit and well he will start training again and make his own push for the number one jersey i am sure. We don't need a campaign.

I have a Holland shirt which I bought about 4 years ago because I liked the kit.

I think it may have to come out at Notts County in solidarity with the FDM. And in tribute to their narrow win over the Scots last night...

Brighton goalkeeper Michel Kuipers has been taken to hospital after being involved in a car crash on Thursday.
The 29-year-old Dutchman underwent tests and X-rays, but is thought to be in a stable condition.

Albion chairman Dick Knight told the club's website: "I have visited Michel in hospital and spoken to him.

"Thankfully it appears that he has only received lacerations and minor injuries. I understand that he is likely to be released from hospital on Thursday.

"All Albion fans will join me in wishing Michel a speedy and complete recovery."

Kuipers has made 103 league appearances for the club since joining from Chester in June 2000.

McGhee says in todays Argus "He has some nasty cuts and bruises and I have no idea how long he is going to be out. He is in shock as well but he has no major injuries, he has been a very lucky boy"

McGhee is preparing to get Ross Flitney in again on loan.

Meopham, Kent.
Bloody Hell.

Got atext from Easy10 about this yesterday, and spoke to my dad last night after he saw it on the local news. Jesus, that looks a bad one. I know the car looks more mangled because he was cut out of it, but you can still see how heavy the impact must have been.

Thank Christ he's okay.

This is very tragic, the poor man was going through a difficult time as it was and now this happens. It will be very sad if he is still forced out of our club in these depressing circumstances. I wish Michel all the best. He is still Brighton's No. 1 and the fans' favourite goalkeeper, no matter what Mark McGhee does.

I must admit I am currently worried about getting in a car.

What with this incident, then there was the awful prang outside mithras house last week.

I heard 2 blokes talking on the train earlier in the week, and one of them was going to the funeral of a mate who'd been killed in a car crash near turner's hill.

Give me train travel any day!!
