i hope he's not in any trouble if it was with a police car.

i feel SOOO sorry for him, he's having such a crap time at the moment, first being forced to move up north and now he's badly hurt in a crash.

not that its more important than his health, but i think we should start a campiagn to have him reinstated as no 1, for when he's better, to cheer him up like...

get well soon michel. we all LOVE you x

All the best FDM.
He's one HELL of a nice fella as well. Quite patiently waited with his arm round my 8 year old at Crawley while I fumbled uselessly with my mates camera to get a snap (which didn't come out anyway). Fingers crossed for him.

Would it be appropriate to take a get well soon card round?

See what happens when your mind is distracted by flashy stadiums and big crowds - I just hope it wasn't a phone call from Peter Taylor that caused the accident !

Get well soon Michel.

( And this rather emphasises the point that two goalkeepers are necessary in any club's squad - where would we be now without Ben Roberts ? )

We could send flowers - I'd be happy to order them if people don't mind a whip round at the meet-up. Anyone know where he's in hospital?

I like that idea. Certainly contribute.

This is better news than I was expecting.

Wishing you a speedy recovery FDM.

I think someone should print the second half of this post (maybe slightly edited), or maybe start a new thread entirely dedicated to FDM's recovery, and send it to him or the club as an ad hoc 'get well' card.

He must be here at H/Heath hospital, I can confirm he isnt in Intensive care though as Ive just been there.
So thats good news.

Shouldnt really dig around for this but things like this get out anyway, only a matter of time before I find out what ward hes on.

And maybe some for his wife. She's probably having a difficult time at the moment, especially with the small child they have.
