What’s his goal / assists for the season? How does it compare to our championship season?

Knockaert is a good player, but no better than what we have now and isn’t getting better. If we go down I’d be pretty sure no premier league club would be after him

Knocky has been great value for money- only cost us c £3m

Since then we have poured money on wide players
Jose ( available less than third of the time) £13m
Alireza £18m
Leandro £18m

Not forgetting Jurgen £15m plus

If you were to work out the ratio of goals/assists per £ invested per player- even forgetting the millionaires wages- I imagine the answers would be quite scary!!!

I don’t know the stats but he made the winner against Huddersfield and scored the winner against Palace for our only 2 wins in the second half of last season. I’d take that now

I saw Fulham yesterday and Knocky was his usual self. Never lifted his head, took on one player too many, little end product apart from a corner that should have been cleared easily but that donkey Nugent somehow put it in his own net.

So not much better or worse than Trossard or Alireza. But I've never really seen any evidence that Trossard or Alireza are any better than Jamie Murphy.

Thank god Barnes hasn't scored for 6 months.

The melts would be circle jerking to oblivion.

But surely that is the whole nub of the debate plus a) AK did not cost over £15 million b) he had(has?) a rapport with the fans c) he had passion d) he scored a brilliant goal against palace

I don't think anyone would be arguing if the replacements had delivered the goods... they haven't.

I have a wider concern and that is the manager rotation of the squad Ali J looked like he will start delivering and then is dropped. March was one of the better players yesterday but was taken off two of many bewildering decisions

Locadia goals were decisive in 4 points last season. I’d take that now.

Ali has directly contributed to 2 points, currently keeping us out of the relegation zone.

And before all the blatherers get hot under the collar.

The team were never NEVER going to score against Chelsea

and unbelievable were even less likely to ever score v Watford.

So yes those 2 points are Ali's and Ali's alone.

Given our meagre options up front we should have kept him and Andone

 One of the most entertaining Albion players of all time. I already miss him but best of luck to him.

Love how people are still reacting in shock to this news. Was always the end game of this deal and all to circumvent FFP for Fulham as they didn’t have headroom in their budget in last years accounts to sign him and now they do.

Still can’t believe we let him go - better than a number in our squad. Also still think £10.5mil is too low - not forgotten how good he is just cos he hasn’t been here a year which is often the way on NSC. Poor from the club imo.
