But could Sven do a job?

We've had enough drab football in the last couple of seasons to make me think not

I have to say McGhee has got a great record at handling Leon's little mood swings. This is a small bump in the road and if McGhee thinks he needs a kick up the arse, then he knows best. Other managers have had difficulty handling Leon, and McGhee has done well up to now.

Leon's actions were indefensible on Tuesday. He was having a quiet game anyway and playing little influence on proceedings. When asked by the touchline to get involved more in pressuring the Wolves back line to defend our 1-0 lead, he ignored the pleadings of the touchline and was rightly subbed for Jake who ran his socks off in the last period.

If are going to have any hope of putting an Albion side with self-discipline and each player working for the other, then Leon is going to have to do better than this. People who defend his lack of workrate either don't care or have given up hope of putting out a disciplined Albion team.

...or don't agree with you when you say he lacks workrate.

Sven would be too busy robbing us blind and spitroasting secretaries to bother with the team too much. It'd be his mate Tord in charge most of the time.

Sure - but remember it's not me you're arguing with, but Dean White and Mark McGhee who were making their views clear on Tuesday.

Good, It might do him some good. The less he thinks he can walk into the team now matter whether he is scoring or being a little baby the better!

I seem to recall McGhee saying he was tired, not lazy ... are you sure you're not putting words in his mouth?

So where did SCR get their information from?
How do we know if this is just speculation?

What a joke, does he expect leon to celebrate being taken off!!!

No, but he doesn't expect him to behave like a spoilt brat either. As a player, you abide by the manager's choice of tactics and line-up. If you don't like it, you talk to him at an appropriate time. What you DO NOT do is embarrass the manager. Even if the consensus was that McGhee got it wrong, you cannot get away with showing public contempt for your boss.

Anyway, how do we know he is being dropped (if that is indeed the case) purely for Tuesday's strop? We don't know, and may never know why this is the case. However, under most circumstances across the country, the sort of behaviour Leon showed would get most players dropped.
