Knight dropped for Saturday

Sounds like "lazy" to me.

Are you sure you're not putting words into my mouth there?

Lack of workrate is a description, not a causal explanation. Lack of workrate could have many explanations. Your rather unlikely one of tiredness (what exactly did he do to get "tired" and why has this mysterious tiredness not struck in most of his other 90-minute games this season) and the one I favour of lack of mental toughness and concentration.

Laziness is another explanation, but not one I want to be associated with, cheers :)

You are all falling into the trap! It is 100% mind games McGhee knows exactly how to handle Leon and he was not in the least bothered by his reaction. In fact he turn round to the South Stand with a huge grin on his face as the little petulant one sat down.

Leon may or may not start on Saturday but it will have f all to do with that incident

Had we bought a half decent striker with the coca-cola money we could have played him up front.

No Manager should have to put up with that petulance. Wanting to stay on the pitch is one thing.........arrogantly dismissing the boss is another.

Leon needs to be dropped for a game as punishment and also so he realises he is not indispensible. As one of the two forwards he has hardly been breaking the back of the net regularly.

Time for Turienzo at Stoke and Jake should partner him as CKR was useless on Tuesday.

Bring on the Little and Large show!

He's done it before, agev MM verbal bashing @ Leicester last season.

We are in the situation where you have to stick together and if he's gonna act like a child then get rid.

So you dont think his 7 goals in his last 54 games entitles him the petulance of a top class striker then :lolol:

Yes and jakes 4 in 30 odd games over the past 3 years is o so special.

Plus you seem to forget he has set up about 6 goals this year.

I am probably in the minority in thinking Leon is not the indispensable star he seems to be portrayed as, although he may have been 2 years ago. Now he is just a useful member of a potentially good squad. the team will not fall apart without him.

Behaving like a twat when substituted is not something any decent manager will poke up with too often.

Jake isn't an experienced striker that used to be on Chelsea's books.

But does that matter? If he is as good as everyone makes out (some people still claim he would have done better than leons 27 goals in the play off year)
he should be scoring for fun.,

Going on the goal ratio's supplied before, it would make Jake roughly an equal striker to Leon. And he's younger and less experienced.

For me, at this moment in time, Leon Knight is the best striker, if not player at the club. We all know, including McGhee, what Knight is like surely he cant seiously be thinking of dropping a player for a heat of the moment gesture.
