With Maresca being his ex manager then KDH was only going to Chelsea if indeed they do bid for him. They may not as they may have other priorities.
I think we’ve moved on with us looking and allegedly making bids for Wieffer and Gomez.
Chelsea really are muppets though in going for anyone that’s of interest to others. Will obviously pay well over the odds for him.

The Lallana one was from about 3 different sites that record player wages, as were all the others. The point is, it's a substantial amount off the wage bill.
To be clear none of the sites have access to genuine player contract details.
The fact that many different sites have published unsubstantiated claims on player contract details, doesn't mean there is any truth to them.

SPortrac is a site that specialises in publishing athelete's contract details for use in Fantasy league, player valuations.
They were originally focussed on American sports (where contract information is widely available)
They have enlarged their database to include Soccerball players and have fudged an algorithm to guesstimate wages.

To be clear, I know that the details aren't likely to be 100%, I know these sites aren't trustworthy.

I'm not a reporter for a major newspaper, or an investigative journalist, or a DULLARD, I'm just a bloke on a forum saying that these players leaving releases a lot of wages. Where you go from there is up to you.

Sounds good.

Given Lallana (90,000 p/w) has gone, if Dahoud (55,000 p/w) goes, along with Gross (65,000 p/w) and Undav (25,000 p/w), then that releases £13m per year from our wage bill. £20m given Fati has gone now too. That's nearly £400k p/w in wages available within the current budget - A sizeable amount to throw at new players

Oh!

Should we lose out on this guy, I’d very much like to see us attempt to sign Smith-Rowe for that link player role. There’s a really good player in there.
Id still like to see Wieffer and Gomez signed too though

I have no idea where it came from but I feel like I’ve seen that Lallana figure quoted a few times. I’m sure it was reported in the media that he became our highest earner when he signed for us and it’s possibly evolved in speculation from there.

FWIW, I would not be surprised if he was on 80k-90k a week.
Reported at the time of signing that weekly figure quoted included a sizeable singing on bonus, in order to not break the actual weekly wage structure

Is the 30th June transfer deadline midnight on Sunday?
Or is it earlier in the day as it's not the official close of the transfer window?

(for the purpose of any deal being included in 23/24 accounts)

i hate them more than palace at this point i think. there, i said it
Even Fabrizio ( the Chelsea fan) is asking ‘why?’. They are targeting a striker and winger so why make a late move for a midfielder to compete with their six other midfielders, especially as Gallagher has no plans to move on.

The guy has never wanted to come here anyway, the chavs are welcome to him. Let's move on ffs
I'm not sure that's the case.

From what I'm told, he would have become an Albion player in January but our now ex-manager scuppered the deal.
