Imagine the carnage over on the ipswich Forum, The joy of getting promoted and now this.

One of the Quotes "I'm bored of the Premier League already, knew I would be, roll on relegation."

I've lost sympathy for them...

Fans are completely fickle. Potter would be a hero after a couple of weeks if he beat a Palace of a Chelsea or sorted out our midfield.
Sorry old boy, you’re so very wide of the mark.

Bringing Potter back would be catastrophic, clearly not as bad as the Goldstone being sold but not far off it for a large number of supporters, myself included. (And by that I mean the respective ‘kicks in the bollocks’ both events represent)

Potter had three periods in his tenure where he could have legitimately been sacked, previous managers had gone for far less, he was truly ‘The Emperors New Clothes‘, thank god Chelsea took us off our hands and paid for the privilege.

Agreed, Tony gave him way too much time.

Yep, and don’t forget the scheming and plotting that enabled Potter and Chelsea to decimate our football management team almost overnight, effectively leaving Bloom, Barber and Crofts to pick up the pieces.

I don’t think I could welcome Potter even if his appointment guaranteed Europe.

Giants such as Manure and BHAFC ruining their plans.

I’d be amazed if Man United, the second biggest team in the World, went for a manager who has not managed in the Premier League or a top league in Europe.
The fact that Chelsea are approaching Leicester for Maresca suggests that they are working on a contingency plan if they can’t get McKenna.
I’m sure we are working our way through our candidates too.
I wonder when our internal deadline is for moving on from KM.
for what it’s worth, the Man United fans up here in Manchester feel it’s a year or two early for McKenna. Many want him to stay at Ipswich, and then replace Ten Hag in a years time.

Manure fans online mainly loath Seven Hag. Even when they win, it was often after being outplayed for 75 minutes by lowly PL teams. Football writers see no structure to his game.

Unless the club know that we really actually are in with a shout against Chelsea/Man U, it does feel like we should move on soon!
If he goes to Chelsea, We only need an interim coach for a month or two, Then he will be available again.
I wonder when our internal deadline is for moving on from KM.

I really need someone to point me to the slightest bit of hard evidence that we are in a bidding war with Chelsea and Man U over Kieran McKenna or that he is even on TB‘s shortlist because I feel I’m in an alternative reality here with everyone else knowing something I have failed to grasp 😎

We must move on!!

NSC’ers …. Please remember that Romano and Jacobs can be legitimately paid by clubs as part of their propaganda during transfer windows. Very apparent last August.

They’re certainly no Ian Wooldridge or Hugh McIlvanney.

Please tell us. I hadn't seen anyone on here claiming to know what was going on. Maybe I made the mistake myself of thinking this thread was about speculation and opinion.
There’s ’speculation’ about who we might sign and there’s making up entire narratives based on speculative names and agent‘s manipulation of the media/gossip.
