This would be very much over dramatic.

Or be seen as doing your utmost to protect your little uns.

I think he made the right decision, good debate about at poker last night.

6 playing and it was 3 saying good shout, 3 saying being to cautious.

I'm taking my friend, Adrian, the otter, with me. They won't expect that, the clumsy croydonites. He's impossible to pin down, Adrian, that wriggly fishcatcher. I wrestled him back in 94 as a dare and Adrian came out on top. He still wears the championship belt and i still wear the scratches of his beastly claws. Of course, the human lifespan is naturally so much longer than the otter's, so i'll still get the chance to boil and eat him one day. Ha! Take that Adrian, i'll spit out for a moment tearfully in amongst the chomping and the plucking of his furry tail.

These are the writings of a crack-head. Love it.

My lad,s 6 and will be staying at home, maybe an over reaction but I'm not convinced that the police have this under control, I didn't see much segregation at Leeds and the police presence was limited.
If it's the same on Tuesday night and they take a battering there will be trouble. I've also got to go through Lewes train station and I'm worried it will kick off there. Hope I'm wrong but better safe than sorry.

Really??
I walked straight through the south end out the door/exit gate. Out side there were lots of Brighton youngsters there, Lots of police lots of stewards no trouble from what I could see. Police presence was increased for Leeds and will be increased further for palace they have it under control. As for the train station they will have police. If you get away as the whistle goes you will be on a train with a few palace fans. I see no reason why kids shouldn't go to this (And anyway the best people to defend you in a fight are the fans and there will be plenty). Also palace fans are complete di**s but what moron would start on a kid. Keep quite keep safe simple, I on the other hand will be shouting about seagulls all around those pri**s in the eventuality of a thrashing (likely).

Don't be so bloody soft.

There will be no trouble at the ground, maybe some in Brighton.

As I said before these are the games that we have been waiting for and youngsters will have a brilliant time. If the old guard want to fight, if they have any brains they will not do this anywhere near the ground.

There wont be any real trouble around the ground , a few ambushes and skirmishes on the way back to London perhaps with those ITK getting involved

How are da kids going to experience the wonders of a mass pitch invasion if he won't let 'em come to the game? Poor show.

Over reaction. If there is any trouble it won't be near the ground.

I don't understand this at all. You shouldn't see any trouble unless you go looking for it. I'd definitely take my kids.

Not taking my 5 y.o.season ticket holding Grandson to this one. Scared of the palarse kicking off?
You are having a larff!!!! more scared of my daughter and his Teacher for keeping him up late. Walking from the West Upper to the coach park held no fear for us from Leeds fans on Friday and palarse are no scarier than Watford let alone Leeds.
But he will be there for Wet Spam as it is half term.

I think this is a good debate. To be honest one of the reasons I'm not taking one of my boys is so I can relax a bit
more and have a bit of banter/few more beers. Maybe they are selfish reasons, rather than actually worrying
about trouble

I find this all quite amusing. Are Palace renting Millwall's fans for the evening & are we busing in a few hundred nutters from Cardiff? Its hardly the clash of the hooligans is it? All clubs have a few nutters but this is on a par with Norwich v Ipswich. Intense rivalry but hardly likely to be mass brawls. Just some isolated incidents probably that are usually easily avoided if you don't want to be involved. Surely we should just enjoy it.
