What is happening after the game in terms of crowd? Are they going to be held behind for a while?

I heard that palace fans will be individually lifted out of their seats by helicopter after the match and flown back to the Croydon area where they will be randomly dropped into the IKEA car park from which they are expected to find their own way home. Although this is only a rumour. And may not actually happen.

I really cant belive all the scare mongering. Sure its our derby and there are bound to be a few little scuffles here and there but I dont think it will be a major problem. Its not as if its Millwall/West Ham or Celtic/Rangers......All the morons and people still left in the 70s/80s should just all meet up at an underground car park or something and kick the shite out of each other, if that flicks your switch and leave the game and stadium to the people who just want to go and watch a intence game of football.

it aint scare mongering, you would be naive to think it will be incident free.

there will be trouble at some point some where on the day, he aint taking the risk.

I'm taking my 9 year old, but the missus is going to collect us rather than risk the train back into Brighton. I think if there is trouble it would be away from the ground, ie Brighton or Lewes?

Threads like this just fan the flames for those looking for trouble and worry those who aren't.

As in most of these high-pressure games, there may be a few isolated incidents, but 99% of the crowd will be totally unaffected. If those odds bother you. Don't go.

My lad,s 6 and will be staying at home, maybe an over reaction but I'm not convinced that the police have this under control, I didn't see much segregation at Leeds and the police presence was limited.
If it's the same on Tuesday night and they take a battering there will be trouble. I've also got to go through Lewes train station and I'm worried it will kick off there. Hope I'm wrong but better safe than sorry.

I'm taking my friend, Adrian, the otter, with me. They won't expect that, the clumsy croydonites. He's impossible to pin down, Adrian, that wriggly fishcatcher. I wrestled him back in 94 as a dare and Adrian came out on top. He still wears the championship belt and i still wear the scratches of his beastly claws. Of course, the human lifespan is naturally so much longer than the otter's, so i'll still get the chance to boil and eat him one day. Ha! Take that Adrian, i'll spit out for a moment tearfully in amongst the chomping and the plucking of his furry tail.

I'm guessing that our resident plastic hard man southern sid is at it as usual by the comments (can't see as he's on my ignore list).

Perhaps if Siddy-widdy tells Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, Turkey-lurkey and Gully-Wully that the sky is falling, then it increases the chances that Eagly-Weagly will be waiting for a ruck.

what a weird post.

Exactly the same here,i would rather take my 10 year old and miss the last 5 minutes myself than not take my son.

Nail, head, hit on. I don't remember too many people not going back in the bad old days but that was THIRTY YEARS AGO.

I was using Leeds as an example! both Leeds and Palace are classified 'high risk' fixtures by the police but I don't think many on here expected a lot of trouble at Leeds, can you really say the same about Palace ffs!

I dont think it will be incident free,,,,im sure if having a punch up is on someones agenda then they will surely find what they are looking for. Same as you can go out on any given night of the week and find trouble if you want to....I just dont think for one minute it going to be carnage and running riots like some on here are clearly hopeing for.....I hope the people who want a punch up find one and get the life ban they deserve if its at the game..Times have changed, grounds have changed and those that dont want to change with it, dont deserve it in the first place....Put people in a shithole and they will treat it like a shithole, thats why it always kicks of at Selhurst lol.
