Ramprakash and Hick were both capable of ripping an average county attack a new one, long after their test careers were behind them. (and for good reason)

Who would rather watch a Cook, a slow but tedious innings compared to the flamboyant KP?

Bradman was not popular but they never dropped him. Its an individual sport in a team game format is cricket. Botham and Boycott couldnt stand each other and well Fred Trueman had all the people skills of a.. yorkshireman. Is KP a pillock? Tats not the question. All the coach has to do is pick the best eleven individuals and tell them to grow up. You dont pick a batsman or a bowler because he is a nice bloke, you pick him because he is better than someone else.

I went to Luke Wright's benefit year pre ashes dinner last week, where Prior and Freddie did some speaking with Henry Blofeld. Prior basically called KP a talent, but said he was a complete c&&t. Prior then reeled off how KP's earnings are down 75%, his endorsements, his IPL contract, it was all a bit much....Freddie then got the mic and said "bloody hell Matty, do you think its about time you let it go mate!?".
Prior lacks a bit of humour for after dinner speaking, but it was clear how deep the ill feeling toward KP runs.
