I agree. I seem to recall the phrase "suicidal backpass". There was only really one like that and that was Fraser.

Please can we stop this personal vendetta against one of Brighton's most loyal players. Please?

Its not like he has had any other offers :lolol: could hardly call him loyal im sure hes greatful for the support the ablion have given over the years and the fourtune of hes been there when needed!

Why shoud he have needed to search for another club when he was under contract to us.

No doubt his agent will look for another club when DW decides that he is surplus to requirements and I have no doubt that he will get fixed up at another club.

Incidentally I was told by a senior person at Woking that they paid Clive Walker more than he ever got playing for us when he joined them so all is not lost for Kerry when he does leave us.

Interesting thread

Mayo gets slagged and yet the one goal that MK Dons scored came when Adam Hinshelwood lost his man.

I haven't seen one comment on NSC about their goal, but had it been a tight 0-0 affair then that mistake by Hinshelwood would have cost us the game.

However, Hinshelwood is a  according to the unwritten rule of NSC, whereas Kerry is a :tosser:

Dead right. If people has the same vendetta against Hinsh as they had against Mayo, they could point out that Hinsh was also arguably at fault for the recent goals by Scunthorpe and Northampton.

The reason why people don't mention these mistakes is rightly they see the tremendous positives Hinsh brings to the team. Shock horror, Mayo also brings plenty of positives too, an experienced head, a great appetite for work and a calm passer of the ball.

Yes, he will make mistakes in the future like everyone of our back 4 will, but hopefully not too many. It's a great credit to Mayo that he is currently seeing off the competition of the highly talented Lynch and Rents for the shirt, let's give him that credit.

so just to conclude TLO is a absoulte twat and hides behind everyone elses constructive remarks.

And that the majority think mayo can still do a job!?

we can only wait and see!
If we're into mudslinging, and you're going to call me an 'absolute twat', I would happily call you a f***ing pig-eyed sack of shit. You have yet to back up your claims to have Kerry Mayo slung out of the club. But you can't, because you haven't got the wit and wisdom about you - that much is evident.

I didn't hide behind anyone's constructive remarks, I made my own. I cannot help it if you are so illiterate that not only can you not write coherently, you can't even read. As I said before, go back to page two of this thread to see why, if that's not too much of a mental journey for you to go on.

It's irrelevant whether the majority think Mayo can do a job or not (even though you are clearly in the minority), it's Dean Wilkins' job. Clearly, if you think he is picking Kerry Mayo when he shouldn't be, your mindless abuse should be aimed at him. But you can't, because you're an absolute twat who hides behind everyone else's brainless abuse of the players.

In short, of course Kerry Mayo can still do a job. He always has done, and, as long as the club wants him, he always will do. You just don't know what it looks like when he does it.

so the offer was for a better club offering more money and regular 1st team football even if there was a serious offer for him i doubt it would be that much better than the one he is currently on ???

He chose to stay with the Albion.

Money isn't the only issue that motivates players.
