Alternatively get someone who has a semblance of street credibility to ask the question.

Well, that rules you out then!

Still no explanation why or who deleted it

I offered you the explanation above. Please tell me you're not too dense to understand.

You will not get the club to admit to this publicly.

I'd still like to know why the question on Ask the Club was removed or have we club censors at work ?

It was removed because cjd's incoherent rambling rant was not really a question, and therefore inappropriate in the ATC forum. There was no need for his ten paragraphs of bile.

There is also no way that the Insider could answer the question about a member of staff who is senior to him.

At last, so what is the point of Ask the Club then ? A senior club official acts like that and people aren't allowed to question his actions.

exactly Ernest. If that is what has happened then it is unacceptable and action should be taken.

CJD should be questioning the actions of that employee. I know someobody SAW part of the altercation and we have had CJDs version of what he said.

However judging from the bilious attack that CJD launched on here the other week then I have some nagging doubts that the exchange from his part may not be as polite as he has written it up.

ken Brown does appear to have offered his business card in an attempt to talk about it further after the event. CJD has access to his details so he should contact him and then have the discussion.

Yes, but this is not the place for that discussion and action to be played out. Ask The Club is not an extension of the club's email system. It's a service that is offered out of goodwill by Insider. If someone really does have a grievance then it should be dealt with in the appropriate manner, nit played out on a message board for dramatic effect.

and the rest of my post goes on to reach the same conclusion.

Good job the lickers weren't around 12 years ago as they would have been congratulating Bellotti on doing a good job and not allowing any questions or criticism of his actions.

No they/we wouldn't, you boring f***ing cretin. f*** off.

How do you know that you knob ? It is this not allowing any criticism even when it's due that contributed to the fiasco of Tuesday night.
Then again you probably weren't there :tosser:

Stop talking bollocks. There has been plenty of criticism of what happened on Tuesday, both on the main board and on ATC. The point is, if cjd has a serious issue with a member of staff, he should contact the club through the appropriate channel and get his complaint dealt with. ATC is not an appropriate channel.

I would have thought Ask the Club the perfect forum so the club can justify exactly what happened and what they are doing to ensure such things never happen again.
Why shouldn't things be done in the open ?

I assume it was because it was rude and offensive like most of your posts.

If I was a Mod I would have removed it too. In fact I would remove you altogether.

ATC is a great medium for discussing things like the ticket problems, I agree. Things that are of interest to us all should be discussed there. However, if you are talking about the professional conduct of a staff member, then I don't think that it is of interest to us all.

As a suspected licker, I got into a load of trouble with a number of people now seen as militants for highlighting some issues about Bellotti. I was told that it was sour grapes on my part as Barry Lloyd had been sacked (who many of them had done a great deal of work to oust).

Just goes to prove that one mans terrorist is another's freedom fighter.

But back to the point in hand - who has said that this matter shouldn't be raised and discussed?

1. I would have thought Ask the Club the perfect forum so the club can justify exactly what happened and what they are doing to ensure such things never happen again.

2. Why shouldn't things be done in the open ?

1. If you look at ATC the Insider has answered a number of criticisms of what happened on Tuesday, and the club have held their hands up at the f*** up and taken full responsibility. There is also further explanation in the Argus if you care to look.

2. There is no reason why they can't be done in the open, but just as you can't speak on behalf of Network Rail in relation to the conduct of it's chairman, neither is it appropriate to expect the Insider to comment on the conduct of Ken Brown on this forum.

3. As one of the people stuck waiting in the queue for tickets on Tuesday, cjd's (as I now know it's him) behaviour was abusive and unnecessary. If you behave like a tantrum throwing six year old what response do you expect?

4. Any analogy with the behaviour of Bellotti is way off the mark. The club screwed up on Tuesday, they know it, they admit it. What is important is that it doesn't happen again.

Well it has happened twice in a couple of weeks so someone at the club needs to make sure it doesn't and that person must be Ken Brown.
As for temper tantrums , if I had paid good money to watch a game and was being stopped from seeing as the club couldn't organise something as basic as a ticket collection point I'd had have been f***ing well angry too.
