SHOREHAM BY SEA
Well i think we know what Dawn Butler MP thinks

A Labour MP shared a social media post accusing Kemi Badenoch of representing “white supremacy in blackface” shortly before Mrs Badenoch was elected as the new Tory leader.

Dawn Butler appeared to endorse comments that also referred to Mrs Badenoch’s election as a “victory for racism”. The Brent East MP has since undone the repost and it is no longer on her profile on X, formerly Twitter.

The post she shared came from Nels Abbey, a London-based Nigerian journalist, and was headed: Warning: Seven rules for surviving a Kemi Badenoch victory.

It read: “Today the most prominent member of white supremacy’s black collaborator class (in Britain) is likely to be made leader of the Conservative Party. Here are some handy tips for surviving the immediate surge of Badenochism (i.e. white supremacy in blackface).

……BUT THEN we have a MATURE post from Sir Keir

Congratulations, @KemiBadenoch, on becoming the Conservative Party’s new leader. The first Black leader of a Westminster party is a proud moment for our country. I look forward to working with you and your party in the interests of the British people.

You should spend 30 minutes listening to members of my family who were teachers while he was Education Secretary. And they would go for that 30 minutes with barely a pause telling you everything he got wrong.

From what I gather, Junior Doctors think much the same from his time as Health Secretary. And we heard from Reeves just how duplicitous he was at the Treasury.
It always astounds me that MPs are, over night, qualified to do hugely important jobs when half of them struggle to talk and breath at the same time, let alonwe walk while they're doing it.

So many people ripping the shit out of Reeves before she even did anything . . . . she's the first qualified chancellor we've had since Brown.

Brown had no background in finance, economics or banking.

Hopefully Reeves uses hers to steer us away from the classic and catastrophic boom-bust blunders of Brown, Lawson and others.

A brilliant day for Farage. I don’t think the humourless Kemi has the appeal to pull his supporters off. They’ll surely stick with their Nige which is terrific news for Labour.

The UK’s lucked out due to FPTP. The 25% who’d be willing to vote for a hardline rightwing party will end up giving a fall between two stools GE result. When they now thrive in the US, Spain, France Germany and Austria.

Keir is screwed when it comes to question time, can't wait to watch him squirm and recoil and then slither back to number 10.
I'd rather see Question Time as a useful tool of understanding for the watching public, rather than pathetic political theatre.

Strange isn't it. We've entered an era of "professional" politicians. MP's used to be largely those who had had other careers so there was a broad spread of expertise in different fields. Nowadays, so many seem to go along the route of Uni, then Spad or PR (Bullshitting) then MP, with no experience of the real world.

Opposition do not win elections Governments lose them. Doesnt matter who is charge of Tories With a 200 majority cant see them in contention for 10 years plus

Really wanted (and voted for) Robert Jenrick. Disappointed. I won’t be voting for Kemi, just another Gove stooge.

2 years ago Truss beat Sunak by 80,000 to 60,000

Now Badenoch has beaten Jenrick by 53,000 to 41,000.

This is how far the Tory party has fallen - Badenoch winning with 7,000 less votes than Sunak got in defeat. If the Tory members aren't that enthused I can't see how she is going to win over the country.

A great day for Nigel Farage.

Hunt? Even by Labour/Green supporters I've never heard him slagged off (away from the tiny nsc bubble where every Tory for 20 years has been hated).

IDS, Truss, Kwarteng, Braverman, Patel and all the foxhunters ... widely despised.
I thought he was universally known as Jeremy C*nt for a reason?
