Happy with this. Weren't we linked with him last term?

Oh god, already injured!

Not sure he's injured. It makes sense leaving him in the stands for tomorrow. I suggest a couple of training sessions with the squad would be the sensible thing to do before playing him? Will add good competition for places in the middle.

Twitter seems awash with disappointment about this signing. UNBELIEVABLE!

A few of our fans need to get a bloody grip.

What do you expect when a team that finished BELOW us last season are reacting to him leaving the same way that we did when Harley left?

Very true. Although there is a big difference between playing for Ireland and playing for Spain. And we'd be taking someone on loan from a team we finished above last season. So it's not quite the same.

Just because we finished above them, doesn't mean they haven't got good players and he could be moving on for many reasons. We had one of the best players in Europe in our squad last season who couldn't get a game under our then manager!!! And it's not his fault he is Irish lol, so was Gary Dicker and he didn't get a single cap let alone 30+,he must be half decent.

So what level of player would appease your delicate tastes?

Delicate tastes? You seem to be missing the point. People are going to be disappointed when fans from a team that finished below us are celebrating him leaving equal to signing Jay Spearing. If it was a premier league club's fans saying the same thing, I would look forward to seeing the player play in the Championship by thinking that if he's good enough to sign for a premier league team, he's good enough to play for Brighton in the championship. But when he has proved to a set of fans of a team that finished below us that he isn't good in the championship, how can you expect people to get excited?

So because Bolton finished below us (despite us not actually beating them at all last season) they don't have any good players? Riiiiight

This isn't Football Manager.

Keith Andrews is a GOOD, SOLID midfielder who has played 35 times for the Republic of Ireland and many times in the Premier League.

You didn't answer my question. Which sort of signing would make you happy?

He's a decent enough player at this level but its not an overwhelming signing and a further indicator of our mid table ambitions for this season.
