If we lose tomorrow I will guarantee we will get knocked out in the next round, watch this space.
If we try to lose tomorrow, we'll crash out in the last 16 for sure.

Karma will not let us switch back to a winning mentality.

We thought Iceland were a gimme, I rest my case. Win Win Win tomorrow at all costs...this is no time for negativity.

Stuff the winning momentum. I'd settle for finishing 2nd and the easier route. It seems martinez is taking that route with his 10 changes reported. The thing is that isn't the England way and Southgate will play to win.

Yes, Southgate has to pick a team he thinks won't win, but try and get them to really try hard to win at the same time. Trouble is I expect Belgium are doing the same thing.

If it were reversed and we had to WIN to get the `better` draw, would we be gagging for a win?

Does everyone think that Vardy, Rose, Rashford, Cahill, Dier, Alexander Arnold, Jones, Delph etc will want to throw the game?! Seriously?! Not a chance! Everyone was delighted 2 years ago with the Iceland draw and look what happened! One game at a time for me and keep winning!

Southgate will pick a side to win this game without a doubt.

Common sense.

Which you seem to be lacking. Losing games to get a mythical easier passage, remember Iceland, I rest my case. Get a feckin grip, with this sort of mentality no wonder we haven't won the damn thing since 66.

Wouldn't expect anything less than the best performance tomorrow, especially from the replacements who are trying to get into the regular side.

I quite like our status in a potential QF as underdogs. Keeps the expectation low and the pressure off after Iceland.

At the risk of stereotyping, with a lot of yellow/red cards potentially coming out of the 'South American' half of the draw with Uruguay v Portugal, Argentina v France and Brazil v Mexico, it might just work in our favour if we do finish top.

Whatever happens...

At least before the game we'll know who our next opponent will be, and the likely opponent for the game after that should we win.
If Colombia top their group which is very likely, I wouldn't want them in the next round. I'd rather one of the other 2.

That's it, your entire case rests on one game? Regardless of what happens tomorrow, we could lose our first knockout game - we know that. But that doesn't mean that Sweden or Switzerland as a possible quarter final isn't a lot better than the prospect of facing Brazil.

Get a feckin grip, with this sort of mentality no wonder we haven't won the damn thing since 66.
Has PotG been our manager for the last 50 years?
