I know we turned down a lot from Saudi Arabia but supposedly Mitoma didn’t want to go anyway, so there wouldn’t have been much point in accepting it. However, I can’t see us pricing him out of a move to a Champions League team if he really wants to go.

While he's clearly enjoying his football here, and enjoying the environment, id use that wave of positivity as an opportune moment to get a new contract in front of him. Maybe they have.

Mitoma has given Brighton creditabililty over in Asia.. he's huge. The amount of fans he's attracted to support Brighton aswell.. it's one player that I think has longevity.. unsaleable unless he personally wants to go.

Given Levy's legendary reluctance to invest in the squad I'd say that Spurs are as likely to bid for Mitoma as I am likely to become the Albion's oldest ever debutant centre forward next season.
