I was already considering moving back to the UK anyway...

I met my Irish partner here, we're pretty much decided that we're moving to Ireland in 2-3 years. I don't see myself affording to buy in Vancouver, £600k for a one bed apartment or move to Kildare and get an old farmhouse on 10 acres for less. Easy decision IMO.

I don't want to be house poor, and i didn't move all the way out here to live 2 hours outside of Vancouver just to afford somewhere.
