Jolyon Maugham is a true patriot in the pursuit of crooks and dis-honest actors that pollute public life in Brexit Britain
Ah yes, the fella who clubbed a fox to death in his back garden while wearing a silk kimono. On the plus side he has persuaded many of his fellow (gullible) remoaners to part with hundreds of thousands of pounds to fund his numerous challenges at thwarting the will of the British people ... so not all bad then [emoji106]

You manage to twist truth very well for a bringer of ‘truth’.
The RSPCA investigated it when the offended reported it. The fox was attacking his chickens at the time, so he was entitled to defend his livestock. His wear was because he dashed out of bed when heard the commotion.

He is a qualified QC, but court cases are expensive, so willing people donated funds to bring court cases which the judiciary have found proven. Politicians are not above the law.
Only frauds claim they are doing the will of the people!

The PM is in trouble now.

Since the likes of the Express went after him which subsequently saw his ratings crash with Starmer and Labour overtaking him and his party in the polls, he is in damage limitation mode. That means throwing his second jobber chums under the bus. They are not going to like that at all. For people like JRM, the whole idea of going into politics is to better your own personal wealth using influence and second jobs, he is not the only one who’ll be unhappy. The Tories face a significant backlash as the PM suggests banning ‘jobs for boys’. This sort of nepotism is in-bedded in the Johnson’s upbringing, schooling and career. Biting the hand that feeds him because he is chasing the polls might be a bad move for him in the long run. But can a PM with that majority have his back stabbed? I doubt it (unless it’s Gormless Gove).

Murdoch has also got his teeth into him. When he is no longer the 'lovable clown doing his best' he is no longer of any use to his paymasters.

Minutes of call with Owen Paterson about Randox contract lost, minister says

Minutes of a key telephone call about a contract awarded to Randox after it employed Owen Paterson as a consultant have been lost, a minister says. MPs were told details of the conference call could not be found – just one hour after Boris Johnson bowed to pressure to release details of the contracts.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/owen-paterson-phone-call-randox-b1959363.html

Johnson finally gets cornered into releasing the details and an hour later, they have been lost. I'm sure the regulars will defend it :dunce:

This government keeps losing documents or technology that holds important (definitely not incriminating ) information.

Things have moved over the past few weeks. The mud is sticking. There's a distinct possibility that there will be a continuous dripfeed of mud as we begin to understand more about the recipients of the contracts that have been dished out of late, primarily for Covid, PPE, etc, but not restricted to that.

Thank you for posting this. Even though the facts are deeply depressing, it does show how mired in corruption this government has become under Johnson's mis-leadership.....

But...

you can be sure that the tory praetorian guard on here will try and defend the indefensible. It's who they are.....

The Mail is all over this.

With that mad right wing rag against you, I wonder how much longer the rest of the right wing media will stand by their man.

I remember when the Sun turned Blair. I think it would be a barometer moment if they switched to Labour and Starmer. They have their fingers on the pulse of millions of the weakest minded people in this country, whom tend to change opinion like a flock of birds taking to the air after just one has flapped. Johnson’s career is over as soon as the Sun turns. The good thing is, Tories won’t be able to shift him prior to the next election when he’ll hopefully fly kamikaze into the sort of defeat Blair used to inflict on the Tories.

Geordie Greig has now been sacked as editor of the Daily Mail. How dare he tell the truth.

Flakey lot, these Tories, aren’t they?
