Yep. Boris Johnson seems to think taking credit for vaccinations is his job done. I wish that it were.

well I suppose England doing well is as much down to Boris Johnson as the vaccines are...?

what's the odds it will be one of his answers at PMQs on wednesday?

Nail on the head. We'll only eradicate racism once we get rid of our racist government

Deepest, darkest Sussex
I wonder how their prized "red wall" seats will react to their new Tory overlords picking a fight with the most successful England football team for over half a century?

We can't afford foreign aid, we need to look after our own" says government that voted not to feed hungry kids or pay for kids to catch up on missed schooling and is cutting support to the poorest and most vulnerable by £20 a week

West is BEST
Foreign aid promotes stability in some of the most volatile and finely balanced territories on earth. It prevents a lot of trouble and cost. And saves the lives of some of the most vulnerable people on the planet If Tory's wanted to find extra money, tax the wealthy properly. They won't because it's easier to take money away from poor people.

And if you think this government are going to filter that money back to the poor in the UK, you are very much mistaken. This is a government that refused to feed poor kids in this country.

Bloody Worthing!
Interesting. and totally predictable, that 2 of our resident intellectual giants and world class ethicists deploy the old 'charity begin at home' saying. Of course, what they really mean (if I can try and lock-in on their wavelength) is that charity ends at home.
