Not as amazing as their supporters bending over and taking their daily shafting happy to see good in absolutely anything that they do. Not a reach around in sight...

But that’s what supporters do, no change there, no suddenly believing Cummings and the Mail when they say something that’s palatable is truly amazing [emoji23][emoji23]

So you believe what’s written in the Mail do you?

Rarely! But that's missing the point isn't it, I was responding to the poster who couldn't believe that Johnson would say those words. I was just surprised that anyone would find it difficult to believe he said something so stupid. Whether he actually said it? That's another question.

I don’t know the answer to that, time will tell but what fascinates me is Cummings & Mail are suddenly to be believed albeit not by you.

It fascinates me that you have now decided to be fascinated by Cummings, a man you didn't even know existed until many months after you voted 'leave', despite him being chief Strategist and Director of the Vote Leave campaign that you voted for :dunce:

Finger on the pulse as always :lolol:

I regard the Daily Mail, Johnson and Cummings as all being pathological liars. However, here we have a fairly obvious statement which is either true or false: "Did Boris Johnson say what has been alleged?"

If it is true, then Johnson is clearly unfit for office and the public are likely to turn on him with a fury not seen for a long time in this country.
If it is false then Cummings reputation is finally shot and the Daily Mail are in a whole world of legal shit.

So I see it as a win:win personally.

Guardian blog post at 11:50 on this is good. Starts like this:

Why evidence suggests Johnson did say thousands of deaths would be better than third lockdown

It is all very well reporting that Boris Johnson said at a meeting in October, as he reluctantly ordered the second lockdown, that he would rather “let the bodies pile high in their thousands” than order a third lockdown, but is it actually true? Here is an assessment of the Daily Mail story taking into account the relevant factors.

Blimey CR, so you honestly think the jury is out whether Johnson is a liar? Come on, its surely OK as long as it upsets the other side

But I’m not fascinated by Cummings am I, come on keep up, I’m fascinated why a well publicised liar and a rag that people wouldn’t wipe their arses with are the new beacons of truth on NSC.

Something else that fascinates me is why your incapable (a lot of the time )of stringing more than three lines in a post without having to return to edit it [emoji85]

Anyway it’s a sunny day so I’m assuming it’s football friends practice soon

I hope this will help you to form a conclusion...

https://boris-johnson-lies.com/

Regarding Cummings (and Johnson), they are practiced liars and as such they will lie when it suits their purpose and tell the truth when it suits their purpose. It's a hybrid mix with only one constant.... it's what suits their purpose.

As for the Daily Mail, it's a similar story - if it is good for sales then write it whether it be true or false. As for believing it or not, you might disbelieve Cummings and The Mail because it doesn't suit your other beliefs about the Government. It doesn't suit you.

The only thing we can do is look at the past form of the characters involved and also work out what motives might be in play.... Keep an open, scrutinising mind if you can.

I’ve been watching with interest what it would take for the Great British Public to collectively renounce Johnson. I hope this is it. There can’t be too many people out there who are trying to dismiss this. Can there?

Really? If you asked me which current politician would have that much contempt for hoi polloi and was stupid enough to have opened his mouth and said those comments, I'd have one answer. He has a lot of history....

I genuinely thought that this was beneath him, jokey and insensitive comments are usually his forte but this would have been off the scale for him I thought... Sorry I have got this one wrong and sadly, it seems, the comments are true. Even sadder, he and the Tories won't lose votes over this.
