So it seems the Government is starting to clamp down on people who tell the stories they don't want to hear. Nope, not authoritarian at all. No sir.

This is a longish piece but well worth the read, will be interesting to see how accurate this will be if it makes it to the screen, and, who would want to actually watch it having lived through it.

closure due to covid directly linked to reduced GDP, and we seem to be doing about the same as two major European countries.

First they tried to triple the BBC Chairman salary to tempt Charles Moore someone who hates the Beeb, now installing one of most divisive individuals in British media as Chairman of the media regulator

The Tories have fallen a long way...

This takeover of the media is probably as close to a dictatorship as the UK has ever been. It's ironic that it's Brexit that has brought us to this juncture when that was supposed to be all about democractic scutiny and accountability.

All done with ‘funny insults’ of snowflake and woke.

I’m proud to be woke which means standing up for equality.

Indeed.... " Woke" is merely the ability to recognise that what was acceptable and said and done in the past has changed. However there will always be some sad individuals who get really irate when they find that people of all colours and sexualties have a right to equal treatment.

Its particularly evident in the little Cretins Club we have on here, the ones who got really self righteous when a statue of someone they had never heard of ended up in the river.

The way it's going Keir Starmer might want to avoid drinking cups of tea by the time we get to the next election if this Government tries to emulate the Kremlin anymore.

West is BEST
Paul Dacre being appointed Ofcom chairman is the biggest stride towards a dictatorship we have seen so far. There will be more and in gathering pace.
