Eh?

I was being serious. Honestly, it is treated on that board the same as racism in the fact that you are degrading someone for something they have no control over. This could be colour of skin or the ability to use correct grammar it makes no difference.

The question could just as easily be asked out of concern. As in I will not have a pop at the person for being thick if they have dyslexia or a learning disability.

I read the first two pages of this thread put was too annoyed to read the others so excuse if anything I say has already been said but what right have you got to slag off this bloke for going on this march and for putting the march itself down????

This march, to a hell of a lot of people in this once great country is very important and for people on here to have a go and say that they are going to just take the mick out of people participating is disgusting.

Dont forget, most of us, well some of us anyway have been on quite a few marches in recent times about Falmer. How would you feel if people slagged off and told you all the people that were joining you on it were idiots??? Pretty annoyed I would imagine.

How about less of the insults just because you dont agree with the march.

well said chez ,but the sheep like people we have on this site need to gang up to big themselves up and nurture their ego's

Yeah I can see that, but the way the coversation was going it seemed more of an insult than a concerned question. I may be wrong though and please accept my apologies if that is the case.

Out of interest though, does anyone agree with the two being treated the same. On the board I was on people didn't think you could compare the two instances.

You are going on a march but all the others on here are sheep? Interesting.

I'm not trying to get into a big row but when you don't read what I say and post on it then you kinda got to expect me to say something. Also at no point did I mention anything involving the Nazis, BNP or rightwing politics. I don't think you have told us enough about this march for me to be able to do this so in the interests of fairness I haven't jumped to any conclusions.

Given the nature of the thread and our past arguments that's hardly the behaviour of someone looking for a row.
i don't know the full facts off the march as I'm not one of the organisers, i'm only relaying the information i have to anyone who would be interested in joining in on the day that's all i can say on the matter

I think if some sort of learning imparment isn't involved then the difference is one can be helped and the other can't.

My spelling and grammer are poor, especially for someone educated to my level, but then these days I can use spell checks and the like so there's no real need to get these things that wrong. Being uneducated is fine if you don't voice strong opinions on things but when you do you do open yourself up to being questioned. If you can't read how much of an informed opinion can you give?

However being black doesn't stop you from being intelligent.

That's kind of odd that you should go on a march you don't really know about.

oh dear les its hard work with you:laugh:

It's hard work with me? From the man who is promoting and attending a march he barely knows anything about while calling others sheep that's quite some claim.

Generally if people like DR had actually gone to school past the age of 5, they might have slightly higher linguistics skills, so it is something they have control over.
