We’re in a fortunate position where De Zerbi’s undoubtedly burgeoning reputation is based on style of play and potential, rather than having achieved anything of note with a club in a position to win trophies on the regular. You could of course argue that he’d have to manage one of these clubs to know, but it’s generally not a risk the biggest clubs are willing to take.

Then again I probably said similar about Potter and Chelsea..

Let’s hope it gets sorted out soon, rather than becoming some long protracted, ‘will he, won’t he’ saga, hanging over the rest of the season.

Bored of it already.

Sky Sports have asked everyone possible about it, then repeat every 10 minutes, BBC News, Talk Sport, BBC radio, Porn Hub it's everywhere.

I opened the BBC Sport app and FOUR out of the first five stories are about Klopp leaving. Christ on a bike.

Does seem overkill coverage, yes he is a good manager and has progressed Liverpool. They have spent a fair amount and just looking at what they have won with him, it isn't that much. 1 Premier League title, 1 FA Cup, 1 League Cup, and 1 Champions League. Don't get me wrong, that is great but is it that great. I am not including community shields or super duper cups etc. The media love him, hence the coverage.

Seems unlikely. Klopp said this morning he told the club in November so hardly a strop.

The timing, however, is odd. Wonder if it leaked thereby forcing today's announcement?
Why do you think the timing is odd?
