If (big if) De Zerbi is being considered as Klopp’s successor I suspect Bloom and Barber already know. As much as it would be terrible to lose De Zerbi, I would expect we have already planned for his possible departure ages ago.

I dont want to call it but I still think RDZ is waiting for the City job.

Let's hope we lose all our games between now and the end of the season so that RDZ's reputation suffers and we keep him.

Leyton, E10.
It's very, very weird timing and a lot of speculation to be had. Top of the league with a new(ish) squad so it's very strange to suddenly do it now.

So maybe he knows something is coming next season he doesn't want to be part of.

New owners which would morally compromise him.

Knows something about the city charges.

Think he might take Germany in the summer and enjoy life after that.

All of these are guesses.

PS Personally I would love to see Potter there but in all honesty I don't think they'll give him the keys if they finish inside the top 2. Similarly RDZ. If Alonso wins Bundesliga with Leverkusen it has to be nailed on.

What crazy news.

Great manager, dislike him as a person, very passive aggressive.

Xabi Alonso or RDZ would be the natural successor, unfortunately.

Just do a straight swap.

RDZ has the style but not the prestige that Liverpool will demand.

Barber already knows who our next manager will be anyway.

While Alonso must be favourite RDZ must be a strong candidate. Mac Allister will certainly be singing his praises :(
