I dont know where all the supporters have come from, Ive been to 11 away games and all home games this season and cant get a ticket, my own fault I guess for not getting one earlier. Im guessing they did not put a points required for purchase?

Sign up below......wont do any good but we can always moan.....

I want Automatic Promotion 100% but not getting a ticket now I want a play off final win....

I haven't been to one away game this year, ( I have a new baby so time and finances are tight). However, I got a ticket via the web site no worries. If its meaningless game, I am sure there will be loads of tickets available on here.

In all seriousness though i do hope we both go up as Dyche as a horrible horrible man!! Shootout for the title would be nice. I fear for you if you need to come here and win though, because our home record is outstanding.

...and we've only lost away from home twice in twenty games. By comparison, you've lost 7 (seven) times on the road.

I think we'd all take having to come to the Riverside and win for promotion right now.

We aren't playing you 'on the road' though are we, so our away record is irreverent. We didn't do to bad at your place anyway did we

When we had half a team that was completely knackered after a 21 game unbeaten run. We'll see you on May 7 and let things sort themselves out shall we?

I think the points system is spot on. I have only been to around 10 aways this season (not counted - could be slightly more/less) due to a baby, however this is off the back of about 7-8 years doing 20ish away games. The way half your points tick over means I am still always in the first release so when I do want to go to a big one (i.e. Boro) I can. However, this will at some point stop being the case as more current regular attendees overtake me.

Bloody hell, can you have a word with my missus, we have a new baby and boro will be my first away trip carefully negociated along with the Play off final if we don't make autos and obviously get to play off final...

Maybe you should look at your manager for that? We didn't have that problem as Karanka used his head and rotated players so they weren't completely knackered.

Nope. But you've lost at home to Bristol City and Forest. Two sides that, at best, are very ordinary indeed.

Nope. You were solid and well worth the win - no-one would suggest otherwise. You weren't three goals better though.

Also, we were out on our feet and almost out of (uninjured) players. Our starting side at The Riverside is likely to have five players who didn't line up at The Amex.

As I say, given where we were last season, and given the gazillions spunked by the likes of you, we'd all take still being in with a chance of promotion come May 7th.

I thought they sent season ticket holders an email when they were going on sale, I never received one therefore never knew what day they went on sale and I still don't know what day they actually went on sale.
I hope we get promoted before then, just watch the 2000 tickets trying to be sold on here then.
Very poor show from Middlesbrough too whose stadium is still 1/2 empty and they're 2nd in the league.

You don't actually know how things were though.

Half the squad were injured so there was no chance of rotation, and the ones who had to play were running on empty.

That's football. We are now in much better shape.

We didn't have any players left to rotate as they were all injured!

The result at the Amex will have no bearing on the result at your place. It will be a completely different team.

Yep those are our only league home losses this season. We've also had 14 home clean sheets

You're making it sound like we're a QPR putting the club at risk by spending outrageous money on bang average old players. The players we've spent money on are real quality. Yes we've spent money, but only after Karanka proved himself over a year and a half period. I would imagine if you lost out in the playoffs this season Chris Hughton would get a good chunk of money to go again next year?

Thanks - that shows up how much you really know. It's not really worth continuing this discussion other than to say I think we're happy to have a decent, dignified manager who doesn't throw tantrums about formations. Chris Hughton hasn't come out after a defeat and suggested Albion fans should be happy because he picked a formation that we wanted. He also didn't go missing in action as the pressure built on us.

The pressure of spending gazillions of pounds on players, eh?

Good one mate, there's only about 1/2000 tickets left to sell. Why would boro send them to the away team when they can sell them to boro fans? You must see the logic?

If I were you I'd sell them to home fans too. No complaints from me on that score.

Look i'm not questioning Hughton in general terms. He's doing a fantastic job!! I just think from the outside looking in he should have rotated a little through that good spell and maybe some of those injuries wouldn't have happened. Obviously you watch Brighton a lot more than me, but it makes sense to try and prevent players burning out.

It was a joke / jibe at the JCL Boro fans who have not attended in any number at all this season or in fact the last few seasons, and only are now because they think they may go up. Very poor indeed.
Nobody can accuse Albion fans of that, we were still getting 23/24K at least in most matches, even when we were facing possible relegation last season.

Our left back got injured. Our reserve leftback had to be moved from playing reserve right midfield and got injured the match after the transfer window shut. Our third choice left back was actually our third choice right back playing on his bad side. That is just a fraction of it.

Please don't criticise Hughton for not rotating the squad, it was just one unfortunate circumstance after another.

Our home support isn't great, i'll admit that. A hangover from us being in the prem for a long time, fans don't want to go and see second level football as they think we should be better. You'll struggle to find a better away support in the country though. Also i think our catchment area is the same size as Doncaster so, not too bad really
