I dont know where all the supporters have come from, Ive been to 11 away games and all home games this season and cant get a ticket, my own fault I guess for not getting one earlier. Im guessing they did not put a points required for purchase?

Sign up below......wont do any good but we can always moan.....

I want Automatic Promotion 100% but not getting a ticket now I want a play off final win....

But will you again be too busy to get a play off ticket.

There dont seem to be many people signing your statement maybe its because we believe we are going to secure automatic promotion.

Don't worry too much about not getting a ticket- it could be a dead rubber :)

I have a little sympathy for the OP if he's been to many away games, but he himself admits that he was dozy and takes responsibility for not acting quicker.

What I find disturbing is that he would rather go for the play off lottery than be promoted automatically.

The playoffs are horrible, there's no enjoyment unless you're three or four goals up. It also pushes back planning for the following season back by the best part of a month.

I'm sure I'm not the first to point this out & won't be the last.

Why would they want to give more tickets to Brighton fans when they can sell them to Boro fans.
The way things are going this game will either be a promotion party for Boro or a chance to win promotion.
Either way it will be a full house.

On the other hand how would we feel if we were the home team for a game that demand out weighed supply
& we gave the away team more tickets.

I know. I don't begrudge Boro wanting to look after their own.

Got a feeling it'll be a 'dead rubber'. Hopefully in the sense we're already up but equally could be we can no longer catch top 2 and already in the play offs

Or because the club were crystal clear, well in advance, of how tickets were going to be made available and they probably did it in the fairest way they could ?

I've got a better idea.
We go up automatically & you blag a ticket to watch the playoff final at wembley and pretend your watching the Albion.
Even better we go up automatically, improve the squad with TV millions and get to Wembley next season.

If it means anything to either side, it will mean something to either Burnley or Hull as well.

It will be on TV unless both sides are already promoted.
Ideally it's on TV as a title decider with both sides already promoted and all other Champ issues sorted.

We can but dream. I'll be there regardless.

I think the points system is spot on. I have only been to around 10 aways this season (not counted - could be slightly more/less) due to a baby, however this is off the back of about 7-8 years doing 20ish away games. The way half your points tick over means I am still always in the first release so when I do want to go to a big one (i.e. Boro) I can. However, this will at some point stop being the case as more current regular attendees overtake me.

Seriously you lot think your Fxxxxxg massive you really do. Your average crowds are around 1.5k above ours. Given your 273k population and our 140 i would say you have jack shoite to crow about. Oh and when was the last time you had 32-33k crowds like we've had the last two seasons. We had the record attendance in this league last season and only a handful off it again this season. and i reckon we will beat that no bother . Nearly 34k at the Riverside last season against you lot. That included the paltry usual crap turnout of 600 away fans. Which TBH is more than normal.

Do you still have pigeons pie on the half time menu :)

Fair play to all those who have bought their tickets already. I was firmly in the "I only want to go if it means something" camp, but now that means I will miss out if does. My decision, so no sour grapes from me, but must admit I'm surprised it sold out so quickly.

The 79 trip north has become legendary in our history and many of us haven't wanted to miss out on that possibility twice, no matter how unlikely, so committed early.

It is a real shame that they couldn't give us another 1, 000, and hope we will keep this in the memory if ever the roles are reversed.

On a similar note, I see Burnley are at Charlton last game of the season. In likely event Charlton are down by then, can see them opening up The Valley to as many Burnley as want to go. More than a tad unfair that they will likely have a lot more fans there than we will.
