I don't want that dumb-arse back as captain. He's trying to rebuild his public image after bringing disorder to the sport with his philandering and attempt to continue to keep it quiet. He's not the sort i'd like to see as a leader of men on the pitch or off it. Gerrard is no great man either, but he led well in the first game and does so with enough aplomb for the scousers.

As a member of the 'Terry is a COCKER' club, I'm surprised that I now find myself wishing that he was the captain rather than rabbit-caught-in-the-headlights Gerrard, who I have yet to see offer any encouragement to his teammates.
