The eagerly anticipated John Lewis Christmas/Winter ad has broke this morning and I can tell those of you who haven't yet seen it, it's a CLASSIC. Saw a preview on Good Morning Britain this morning and when they cut back to the studio there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

Without totally spoiling the surprise the premise is a spaceship crashes to earth and is discovered by a BAME and he goes to show them how he and his family celebrate Xmas set to a beautiful stripped back version of Electric Dreams. You'll be going for the tissues.

And I say this as someone who spent a lifetime in advertising and who loves Christmas like a kid.
