I find it distururbing that some people believe Barton is a good player. If his standard is 'good' then it's no wonder we are unable to produce any decent world class footballers. Would he be deemed good in Italy, Spain, Germany, or even France?

Aside from the fact he's a complete nob, he's a bit ordinary, his disciplinary record make him a big risk and I'd imagine his wages would mean he wouldn't provide value for money. It reminds me of when Robbie Savage played here under thicky. An absolute waste of time.

Never mind his attitude. His passing stats were terrible last season. He gave the ball away more than any other player on their team.

This, and you can go back quite a few years and you will find the same. Whilst he showed promise as a youngster he has never gone beyond this initial promise and is slowly working his way down the scale.

It's a big scam by QPR to loan him to a Championship team because his suspension counts for his new club and a Championship side plays more matches including League Cup at the start so his suspension is over quicker
