Yes, let's slag off a hard-working professional Albion player for no reason...
Is there another reason for NSC's existence?

Put Painter in the reserves where he belongs? Sorry but f*** off, who are you to slate a player who was integral to our promotion last year.

Why people choose to slag off our players especially during our best season in a generation, I really fear when we hit a rough patch as some of the goons on here are going to go in to moaning overdrive.

People would do well to remember where we have come from.

I think he'll really struggle to get back in the team. Against quicker opposition Painter really can get exposed. Last year he was extremely solid, but I feel the Championship might be a step too far. He lacks the skill and pace needed at this level IMO.

The comment from the OP was harsh, but I agree, Mattock is different class..

People go into moaning overdrive on here when we DRAW A GAME. It's f***ing unbelievable on here sometimes. Embarrassing.

God forbid anyone comes on here and has a different opinion to the rest...

For the record, i recall a lot of people slagging him off before he got injured saying he wasn't up to the job.

Way to miss the point. I don't think anyone has a problem with someone thinking Player A is worse than Player B. It was the way he felt the need to almost make it personal, with "put Painter in the reserves, where he BELONGS."

Just no need for it really is there?

For me painter is good enough for back up and would be solid enough if needed .

I do think the make up of a top 6 side in this league involves full backs that are both solid and good going forward . Unfortunately calderon and painter are 1 out of 2 on both qualities where mattock and reyes look the more complete fbs . Reyes first spell more than this !

Painter a good understudy but hard to see if will figure much especially with a 5 man bench

Will always be held in high regard for last season in particular
