My guess in reality is that it'll be a good result for Republicans, although there is a chance it won't be quite as amazingly good as they would like.

As said one one of the other threads the other day, for the US military manufacturing sector the Ukraine war is an absolute win-win scenario. They get to flog a load of military hardware to someone plus they then get to watch what happens when it's used against the hardware of another superpower (which, as it turns out, is that it absolutely wipes the floor with them). Any US administration in this scenario would be utterly insane to want to put a stop to that.

Which then begs the question, is the modern Republican party insane? The fact that's not a complete "no" is the only real fly in any ointment right now.

as you wish H ...i find the whole USA , NATO , UKRAINE , RUSSIA , UK situation an absolute clusterfuck of contemporary , political chicanery.....the U.S has done to Russia exactly what Russia did with Cuba , they have provoked a reaction from Putin from the other side of the Atlantic , a very safe distance away , they have left Britain and Europe well and truly in the firing line , i'm not saying Putin is blameless at all but ffs , American foreign interference is a blight on the globe.

Republican run States are rolling back on women's rights on abortion. LGBT community are under attack in those States too.

That's the alternative the Americans have to choose from and if Republicans get control in both Houses and the White House. Everyone's Rights will be curtailed except white Christian men. They ey are not hiding the laws they plan to bring in.

The whole world should be fearing a Republican Presidency in 2024 because it will embolden extremist right wing parties around the world because Americans will fund them.

For the most part I'm usually optimistic but I'd Democracy gets eroded world wide it will be extremely difficult to get it back because they will start to try and fix Elections by any means at their disposal.

Whilst the ultra right Trump supporters post videos like this in an attempt to ridicule a near senile and elderly career politician who have never been found to have committed a crime, American prosecutors press more and more genuine charges against their hero Trump who will surely spend the rest of his life in jail once justice catches up with him.

I know. We are in a shit place politically if they get control of any seats of power. They have no policies except to attack others. They can't win the popular vote so the only way is to restrict voting rights of the people not inclined to vote for them
