Astounding news, and a revelation that's been too long coming.

Bullard was quality before his massive injury that put him out for a season, and he's proved that he's back on form again. A real grafter, and I hope he doesn't become stultified by any England stigma - like becoming too careful or nervous to play his natural game.

Defoe is excellent, a fox in the box who proved he doesn't need much room for 'pulling the trigger' yesterday.

If Capello drafts in these sorts of players, like Agbonlahor as well, then the National team has a decent future to look forward to.

I thought Carson made a few good saves yesterday when watching MotD, and well he can't be to blame for all three Croatia goals

Good move! I saw him play against Celtic at Craven Cottage and it was a footballing masterclass. The sooner the usual names are replaced with players that DESERVE to be in the team, then I might just start watching England again.

Richards was taken off at half time of Man City's game with Sunderland today after being accidently injured by his own keeper in the first half. He was actually going to be in the U-21 squad but City have withdrawn him from that squad because of the injury.
