Very sad news, it hasn't been a good year for NSC in terms of members passing away.

RIP Jimbo

It's always a sad day when one of the NSC and BHA family dies, even if you didn't know them personally.

RIP Jimbo.
Condolences to family and friends.

RIP Jimmy. My brother was a very good mate of him and I have met him many times in my brother's company. He was always great fun to be around. My brother has just texted me to say he is popping down the Seafield later to have a drink in his honour.

I had been wondering for a while if JimboGRFC and Jimmy Percy were one and the same as on reading some of his posts I was pretty certain they were. This is a very sad way of finding out that fact.

Sad news. I was involved in that cricket shirt thread. I thought he was a crazy fool, but the internet brings out the worst in us.

Presumably Lucas has lost a father. RIP Jimbo and thoughts to his family and especially his son.

As I was in PM touch with JimboGRFC and, as he signed off as Jim Percy, I reckon that answers your question.

He would be absolutely gutted to see what has happened to GRFC.

As a very good pal of Jimmy and a fellow BHA supporter and Rangers man as well I would like to add my rather belated condolences on Jimmys passing and, just as importantly, thank every-one who has offered their sympathies on this thread - I know for a fact that it is much appreciated by his family and all of his many friends!!

Wow. This is the second time in the last few months I've logged onto NSC and found out that one of our 'characters' has passed away. Like others I had my on-line run-ins with Jimbo (and the stained cricket shirt thread was a classic) and I never met him in real life, but you just knew from reading his posts that he was a decent man - albeit with a slightly weird take on life at times.

Genuine RIP and sincere condolences to his family and friends. The world needs more people like Jimbo, not less.
