Sorry to hear that another of NSC's characters has departed but I'm sure Jimbo was mighty pleased to have made it to the Amex. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Very sad news, RIP Jimbo. Don't think I ever met him in person but he kindly pm'd me about some health stuff I wanted advice on, and we chatted about my upcoming (as was at the time) trip to Scotland. I'll have a wee dram in his honour tonight.
Edit; just re-read Jim's pm's, he really came across as a genuinely kind and caring bloke. So sad.
I chatted to this bloke on the internet
About some stuff that was bothering me
He'd had some similar problems
And seemed a nice man you see
We shared experiences
Compared our notes
And got to talking about his native land
I was going on a trip there soon
A fun time I had planned
The advice he gave, on my problems and plans
Seemed genuine and worth heeding
He was about the same age as me
Loved his footie and the good life
And offered signposts without preaching
He left me his mobile number
In case I wanted a voice-to-voice
And wished me well for my holiday
And commended me on my choice
I said I'd get back to him in a couple of weeks
To update and talk some more
And then life got in the way again
And he slipped from my mind once more
Until I logged on to this site today
And read the very sad news
That he had just passed away
And no more would he cheer on the blues
What a strange world we live in now
When some of the most touching things we see
Are heart-felt online RIP's
To people like JimboGRFC

Having known Jim and some of his family for many years, I echo all the comments on this thread. Very humble about what happened to him and always a pleasure to talk to. A true fan who thankfully got to see his beloved Albion at their new home.
