The loan move worked out great for him, he clearly needed to be playing regularly and the work he's done off the field has helped massively too. Always he looked decent for us, plus he scored the winner against Palace in the FA Cup and made Dancing Alan look an even bigger cock in the process, whats not to like?

Lingard had a very good spell lasting around a dozen games . I’m not totally convinced he can keep that up over a whole season . Will see next season . Certainly don’t think we should break the bank to get him , I’d rather have Tammy . Not that that’s likely to happen .

I heard a radio thing where the change was put down to him addressing long-standing mental issues and putting a lot of work into being "mentally fit". I think his mum suffers clinical depression and he got help he's needed for a long time to manage his own responses to that and the responsibility that comes with it, and that's refocused and re-energised him.

I hope that's the case and hopefully he can maintain the form he showed from January onwards. He was fantastic for West Ham, far better than I'd have expected from him based on the previous 5 years of form. I've nothing against the guy at all and I was more than happy to be put in my place. A football career is relatively short but he's probably got 5 years at the top level left if he wants it.

Lovely opener for JLingz, on this form he's a joy to watch and putting a much needed smile on the nation's face after the debacle of Soccer Aid last night.

If we are pitted against West Ham then he won't come here .
Not so sure about that - we beat them and Leicester to the signing of Craig McKail-Smith when everyone thought he was good.

He'd get more starts here, and who knows, maybe he prefers our set up to theirs?

Lingard is putting it up to Ole - play me or I walk for free next summer. Someone is going to give him a sh*tload of money to sign for them as a free agent if (and I expect when) he leaves Man U

Sadly no quotes and just pure speculation, hope it come to fruition though!

Agreed with all these points - very strange article with no substance. Like a clickbate article from some shit site on the transfer window! But yes, I see no chance him coming to us if he leaves as West Ham will be all over it and he’s just done really well there and they’re slightly better than us currently and a higher profile club. Odd one from the Argus.

Even if it isn’t what it used to be, Usually there’s a level of foundation to their Albion coverage .

I know they are cash strapped but that article is just plain bullshit .

Think JLingz might well go abroad, I know he changed his agent to Mino Roala so I'd expect the likes of Juventus, AC Milan etc to be in for him.

Looks like a younger author - not Owen anyway. There’s also a free transfer article about Connolly being injured which is equally as odd and crap.
