The press will have a massive lot of cuttings about his previous activities. The radio tonight mentioned him sitting next to a vehement anti Israel campaigner at some rally in 2009. Apparently he can't remember meeting the bloke. No, JC will be done up like a kipper by the media.

can you insert holocaust denier here instead, sounds better, adds to both the drama and the circus at the same time.

Anyone who believes this is simply not paying attention. Despite almost the entire spectrum of the mainstream media lambasting him and his chances, he is becoming increasingly popular every day within almost every demographic. It's really unprecedented, he sells out everywhere he talks - he is incredibly popular on social media and throughout polls.

If public opinion is anything to go by, rather than what we are reading in the papers, Corbyn not only will win the Labour leadership, he has a bloody good chance of winning the 2020 election too.

The TUC's own research has shown that people didn't vote Labour in May because 1. They couldn't be trusted on the economy 2. They were perceived as too soft on benefits and 3. They spent too much. Given all that how the hell do you expect to capture all those Tory voters especially seeing as Corbyn's supporters have been using the word Tory as an insult?

Seriously matey, can you please stick a tenner on Blackburn to win on Saturday and that way we'd be guaranteed a Brighton victory.

Some thought Leon Best had a bloody good chance of scoring a hatrick last season....There`s always someone willing to believe the impossible possible..Not Me...If Corbyn wins the Party leadership contest which IMO he sadly might...Labour are F...ked..... Fact.

I did think about it.....but I don't know if it is the case. It is a drama and circus, though....

Really? How many working people support him ?

at the current counting, probably fewer than 300k. thats about half the Labour membership eligable for voting, and they reckon a quarter of them might be "entryist" who joined for a giggle.

That Fifth Column, always with the thumbs down. You should get away from the forum, nothing's all that bad. Keep on smiling. Always look on the bright side of life. Keep yer pecker up. Worst things happen at A&E.

The more I read about him ..the more I think he will be elected labour Leader(Those not in power can promise everything to anybody and robbing the rich to give to the poor is another classic leftwing votewinner ) yet it is unthinkable that he or indeed Labour with him in charge could/will ever form Government...Does anyone seriously believe Corbyn could be Prime Minister of this country ?

Preferable to robbing the poor to give to the rich though.

Totally un-electable as PM, but if that's what labour and the vote-infiltrators want then fair enough.

Most of the younger people rah rahing him right now are the sort who don't vote, because it implies complicity with 'the system' (aka too lazy to vote).

One of my neighbours has a 'support Jeremy' poster in her window. Her partner (a good labour man) shook his head sadly when I mentioned it to him.

I blame the idiot MPs who nominated him 'for the sake of a broad spectrum of candidates'. The only hope labour have if they elect JC is if the tories elect Boris 'hang Nelson Mandela' Johnson. Then Labour will walk the North. And probably London too, now London has seen Boris for what he is (an opportunist - the opposite of JC).

I see it quite differently. The fact the only thing which the right wing press can dredge up is a few supposedly dodgy meetings he has had, and the fact Corbyn is able to repeatedly bat them off with a plausible and credible reason, and not get drawn into this nonsense, is a good thing. The longer it goes on, the more desperate and boring his haters become; there are only so many ways one can say the same thing.

If the people he stands up for (the less well off and the young) bothered to vote he would sweep to power. But they probably won't and the Tories will win again because their demographics vote

He's either lying through his teeth or got a very, very bad memory. He wrote to the Home Office asking for Jahjah's visa to be fast-tracked so Jahjah could speak in the HoC as a special guest of Corbyn.

I'll just leave this here, in the probably futile hope you and others will read it and take it on board.
