How would I know if its me, if you dont have the balls to leave it up. Nobody has to expose you as anything. You do well enough on your own, anyway, back to your running away from a simple question. Tell me about Corbyns Treason trial.

I dont need a dating site. I dont live with a plumper. Ive used them sure...and had good times on them in the past. Still talk to old partners on them as well.
Tell me about Corbyns Treason trial bushy? Or is this another attempt to get the thread stopped because youre looking a bit of a **** again?

Just like Black Wednesday and did in 1992 (4.5 years of a lame duck Tory Government and 13 years of Blair/ Brown.)

Labour does not have an exclusivity deal with financial crisis. Just the same way that George Osbourne's skillfully woven narrative around the UK economy is far from gospel. The jury is very much out on this 'recovery.' At what point do we start debating the Tory response to this recession, rather than who/ what caused it? America used a more Keynesian approach to debt management and recovered far more quickly than we did and I'd hardly call Obama economically 'left-wing.'

Whilst I'm far from convinced about Corbyn's GE election prospects, I wouldn't be so happy if I were a senior Tory. Should he win the Leadership election he will be a leader with an enviable voting record, who speaks to many people in their own language (unlike the other 3 Stooges) and will be able to challenge the Tories from places that the other neo-liberals wouldn't even touch.

The Labour Party desperately need a consistent, appealing, narrative to counter the Tories. Of the available candidates, Corbyn appears to be the only one providing that.

I'll take issue with you re the Tories and the economy. They won the election in 1992 despite the fact that the economy had been in recession for the preceding 2-3 years. Ken Clarke did a reasonable job of repairing the economy prior to 1997 and it wasn't in bad shape at all.

Major was a pretty mediocre leader, Thatcherism was over and Mandelson had created a far more electorally-appealing New Labour as Tory Lite with the charismatic Blair in charge. Therefore, I'd counter that the Tories' 13 years in the wilderness was not about mismanagement of the economy but more about these three other factors.

As for the Tories, I doubt very much that they're that worried about Labour at all. In fact I'd say their order of concern would be UKIP, then SN, then Labour. If they can simply take back 1 in 2 UKIP voters then there will be clear blue water between them and the Labour Party, regardless of who is in charge. They'll only have to start worrying if Umunna becomes Labour leader.

I am late to this party but are you seriously suggesting events that happened 100 years ago somehow don't matter or have any lasting impact?

Obviously never spoken to many Australian aborigines!

Now that daveinprague has arrived, with other usual suspects, this thread is well and truly destined to become an all out binfest, confined to "The Other Stuff" - seen it too many times now.

Feel free to check. Ive made a simple statement, and our resident clown is doing his best to **** up the thread to avoid answering. Dont blame me.

I really hope Corbyn gets elected leader. He has as much appeal to the nation as Michel Foot
