I doubt it is true.

There are easier ways to relegate a club than going into admin. The owner could just take over as manager himself for instance, and sabotage things by wilful incompetence.

Are you sure? Managing a squad of reasonably competitive players into relegation at short notice seems to me to be much more complicated than juggling the books and putting the company into administration.

Not sure where your looking but he’s only played one league game. Appeared once this season in a cup game.

Yeh I just saw on YouTube he came on at Brum but did make his debut in 2017 too. DS for sure.

Interesting. The only time I remember something similar was when the owner of Bromley took over as manager a few years back.

Palace owner made himself manager in the 80s. Forget the name. Later embarrassed himself with racist comments.

Donny Rovers. Forget the details (owner made his brother team captain or somesuch). Wanker. Owner later burned down the main stand; his gimp was caught after losing his phone at the scene and the owner got 4 years.

Twaats everwhere

I have no probs with Noades, he's a great judge of a player. He thought he was stitching us up by snatching Pinamonte from us - but that just led us to take a punt on a little known youngster, Bobby Zamora. He also let us take Danny Cullip, thinking he was too injury-prone to play many games.

Wigan and us seem rather tied together recently.

Burn, Walton, Balogun....... potentially Weir yeh. Seems realistic DS signing.

Could be good to take a front loaded punt on a player rather than having to include future clauses. Help them out and could work out great for us if he develops.

Continue to send players on loan there too hopefully even if Weir the loan manager's son is no longer there (which now makes the previous business make sense as he must have gone there occasionally to watch/support his son and why not do business at the same time).

Poor old Balogun though - let him go, signed a £13k a week deal and basically now not getting paid. Good job it was only a deal until end of the season

His great philanthropy towards The Albion aside, "In 1991, Noades provoked controversy with his comments on the racial make-up of his team: "The black players at this club lend the side a lot of skill and flair, but you also need white players in there to balance things up and give the team some brains and some common sense." The fall-out led to several black players leaving the club, including key players Ian Wright, Mark Bright and Andy Gray. "

The Argus on to this now.

“The Scotland youth international is the son of David Weir, who looks after Albion’s players out on loan.”

However Mr Owen, you’d do well to describe him as the former Scotch youth international as he realised he was too good for them a few years ago and has been turning out for the England U17s & U18s ever since.

Sorry big Davy Weir but you’re laddie’s been turned!

I am not sure his whisky drinking habits at such a young age are goint to help him progress.

The quality of the youngsters we're getting in now is insane! Him (England u18) and Dendoncker (Belgium u19) are the kind of calibre of youngster we're looking at now. Probably Ashworth influence so will be interesting to see how else joins over the next few months.

We are getting Else as well? Need to get Flo out of retirement to get a cleaning lady team going.

Brighton factually.....
I keep reading this thread as Wigan Pier.

Wigan pier had a great nightclub (now knocked down) I used to go in the late 80s for a few years, fantastic indie/student night on Wednesdays and they had Northern Soul nights there aswell after Wigan Casino closed down. We used to drink in the Orwell before the nightclub, it was out of town, pretty close to where the DW stadium is now I guess.
