Anyone found any particular gems in amongst the inevitable dross?

I had a little bit of time in Brighton to browse around HMV before heading to Withdean, and managed to pick up "Billy Connolly's World Tour Of Scotland" and "Billy Connolly's World Tour Of England, Ireland & Wales" (RRP - £24.99 each) 2-Disc DVDs for the princely sum of £5 each, which rather pleased me, being a big Billy Connolly fan and all.

:)

Went to PC world today and found a lovely little bargain if you havent got FM2007 yet.

Although it is officially £32.99 there, they have half the boxes marked up at £24.99. Thats not bad for starters but they also have "£10 off" vouchers that say you can use to buy the game for £22.99. The good thing is these vouchers also work for the £24.99 priced ones and although the expiry date was 24/12/06 on these vouchers they are still working!!

£32.99 down to £14.99, not a bad price!!!!!

Not long back from Next, took two of my sisters, sent one into the kids department to grab anything for the kids, one into the mens and home department to grab Paddy and house things and I did the womans clothing.

Label value is £898 and I paid £377 so not too shabby at all. Few things will need to go back on Friday since my sister got a few girl things for my sons size and vice versa. But all in all a very successful morning :)

Waiting for 10am to get the few things I couldn't get from their website, have all the catalogue codes at the ready to get in quick. Heh.

I just got back from HMV to get my copy of "Billy Connolly's world tour of the away end at Upton Park" and guess what?

THEY'VE ONLY GONE AND SOLD OUT!!!!

I went in there on the way to the Swansea game and asked them to keep one by for me!!

This is a disgrace, I'm never going shopping EVER again.................anywhere. I will live off the land and use old disgarded newspapers as clothes!

Thank you HMV you've ruined my life!

Just reserved a Dyson vacuum cleaner at Argos reduced from 249.99 to 124.99. Ours broke about a month ago and we've been borrowing one waiting for the sales and I'm now very glad I waited.
