My thoughts entirely. His music fills me with indifference but his interviews are always amusing.
He has had an "interesting life" (see James Blunt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) pre music and why should he worry, comes from a wealthy background, is musically talented (for those who like that style) and appears to have to beat the ladies back with the proverbial shitty stick. Room for a "don't like his music but seems a nice bloke" option on the poll??

Can't really comment on the music, but I usually like him being interviewed and on HIGNFY, Top Gear etc. - good sense of humour, and did his stint in the army, when presumably he didn't need to.
I wonder how many of the people who "hate" him (rather an extreme view), would change places in a heartbeat. Money, fame, a life in the sun and all the women you could wish for.

Like the music and like the man. gets a lot of unfair stick in my opinion but i guess he is the one laughing all the way to the bank.

Well, I'm glad some people actually realised what I was getting at.
Have always liked the bloke, and seeing him on HIGNFY and Buzzcocks this week reminded me of what a COOL bloke he is.
Obviously he isn't the greatest musical artist ever, but that wasn't the question.

Not cool but certainly not a tool. Respect given for the work he does for the forces. Excellent interview on Top Gear and was very good on Buzzcocks last week. I missed HIGNFY so will presume he was pretty good on that too.

In a musician, I generally just want the music to be good. I don't care if he is a tosser or the soundest bloke on the planet.
