Jade Goody is in a seriously bad way. Her cancer has spead to her liver and other vital organs. Having watched some of the documentary on the progress of the cancer and her knew bald look I was impressed at her humility and fight and determination.

To all the people thinking it was a publicity stunt when she came out of the Indian BB it appears we all owe her an apology.

Sure she made mistakes and it was a sign of our times someone with no disernable talent made £ 8 000 000 she has to been in a new and more positive light.

Good luck to her.

She is no different to anybody else who suffers from that appalling circumstance.

I don't respect her for, and I paraphrase; "earning £8m for doing diddly-squat". And neither do I respect any more so since announcing she was suffering from cancer.

Cancer is a sad, heartbreaking illness which I wouldn't wish on a living soul. I just hope that for her sake, she keeps it out of the press and focuses on getting well surrounded by her loved ones.

Alas, this clearly is not going to happen as even at her lowest ebb she has chosen to be surrounded by a camera crew. This is the saddest part of all in my eyes.

She has said all the money she is earning from it will be going to her kids, nothing wrong with that

Its very, very sad that anyone should get cancer, but that doesn't make me like her any more than I did before.

It's not about the money! If she was a penniless single Mum, living on the dole, with four children to support and only receiving state benefit, you could, maybe understand accepting payment to make a documentary of this kind.

But she's not - it's already established she has a large personal fortune.

So why put herself (and her kids) through the totally unnecessary additional stress of having her most private and serious moments of her life captured for the nation to see?

liver cancer is rarely treatable without a transplant, it's sad for her and her kids but like uncle c i don't much like her before and that doesn't change. if she wants to raise awareness and who knows, her and her unfortunate cancer has put that in the headlines far more than the likes of me trying to get everyone to donate, and if she wants to sock money away for her kids so that hey never have to worry about anything in their lives then her call. i think her putting into the media is just a coping mecanism and if that gets her through so be it.

anyway. go donate your blood and register for the organ donation list.

I have to say, these are my sentiments exactly. I really feel sorry for her and her family. I am glad somebody else has the same opinions as me - I was feeling guilty for feeling exactly what you have expressed in your quotes.

Of course it's very sad, as it is for anyone with a life threatening disease.

If the publicity leads to more people being encouraged to get screened and catch diseases early then the publicity in Jade Goodys case can only be good.

well said

we all cope in different ways and for someone who has lived their life in the media spotlight it doesn't seem inappropriate........well.

We have a friend dying of cancer at the moment. She has put up an immensely brave but futile fight. I have to sympathise with anyone going through it knowing the probability that there is only one inevitable outcome.

This situation might remind people not to be quick to totally condemn others.

If she's making an example of herself on tv for this, then it counters the example she became over Shilpa Shetty in that embarrassing vignette of her higher profile life.
At least if she's remembered for something, this has more substance than that chavvy Big Brother.

Perhaps her kids will benefit financially, and perhaps the cancer society will benefit, and perhaps some people out there will be encouraged to get a check-up 'just in time' to be saved from an early grave.

"all the people"? I'm not sure there were ever many people who really believed she faked her cancer treatment for the sake of publicity, so I really don't think there will be many people needing to offer her an apology.

It's terribly sad that things like this happen of course, especially for her poor family; but she remains a talentless, racist, chavvy buffoon with no business being in the public eye as far as I'm concerned.

Well I feel sorry for her but agree totally with the above. Still, her success does show you can fool a lot of the people a lot of the time, look at Posh Spice.

She is nothing, an awful useless animalistic pointless thick ignorant bigoted big bag of acrid blood-pissing nothing. Her contribution has been nothing, to no-one. Nothing.

But, to paraphrase above, if the vegetative saps that somehow derive enjoyment from watching she-turds like that wobbling and shouting around on the telly have their awareness of the importance of organ donation raised, that's good. I think chavs should be forced into liver donation if they've not already ruined theirs with WKD.

So it seems to be the case that the only person on here who ever really believed she was faking cancer as a publicity was in fact, GARTH GILVER.

Shame on you GARTH. And I accept your apology on her behalf (seeing as she probably can't read).

For the nation! I dont think so.

For the sad fans of BB and rag newspapers perhaps.

I feel very very sorry for her, and I hope it all goes as well as it possibly can. It must be the most horrendous thing for her and all her family.

God bless.

To die of cancer is a horrible thing, but to die of cancer in your twenties, having a young family is tragic. Her detractors on here have stated that she is a big nothing, totally beneath contempt and probably cant read . Perhaps this is the reason that, not being particularly bright, she has attracted a leech like Max Clifford to handle her affairs and that is why her final days are being thrust into the spotlight. I'm sure that when you know your life is ending soon, and you're full of fear, your thought processes will be anything but rational. Cut her some slack, she may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she deserves to die with dignity even if Max and the other hangers on wont allow it.

Er no schister or whatever you name is, people said she had hyped it up and was doing it for publicity. I was just re assessing my original reaction and balancing it up but carry on with the insults if they make you feel big and brave if you want. Go you !. Wow , what a guy.
