Sounds like the sort of politics going on in Brighton and they have targeted one of there own Peter Kyle
The far left is on the march again.
The far left is on the march again.
So hard they had to cover their faces
had an education
As you can't spell hijacked, I assume you didn't have much of one?
Well spotted but I suspect we can put that one down to the dreaded auto correct or is that autocorrect.?
All this no platforming is great, it just plays into the hands of those wavering in voting indecision. Left wing 'facist' techniques of zero tolerance of an alternate view is just building the case against the momentum driven version of Labour and 'soundbite' Corbyn and his politburo of a shadow cabinet. Many on here agree with no platforming, shame on them. Let the debate rage, even if the debate is from a bit of a prick
I do not much care for the man.
Mite bee.
Unfortunately the current main opposition party and its supporters are more a bunch of yobs than a mainstream political party. That’s what happens when an extremist Marxist like Corbyn and all his yob Momentum mates high jacked the once great Labour Party.
Nowdays the Labour Party is all angry Marxists, socialist workers, trade union members and various other members of the great unwashed who get jealous and angry that anyone else had actually had an education and become even moderately successful in life. Hideous bunch
Typical right wing thugs beating up student protesters including women. Usual Tory filth in action
Boris Johnson for me absolutely characterises this. A man with seemingly no talent or record of success in any job he has held to date in politics, but he's managed to end up as Foreign Secretary because of "mega-lolz legend bantz" and being "funny" on TV. Thatcher would have looked on him in disgust. Churchill would probably have had him shot.
So that is Winston Churchill out of a job then?
Absolutely this. Having a backbone would be supporting the NHS, schools or trying to reduce inequality against powerful interests. While It reflects well on JRM to talk to these idiots let's not dress it up as something it's not. Lots of his ideas and beliefs are offensive to many. Agree that he actually has beliefs compared to Cameron or May but calling him a legend is appalling imo. Thankfully most people are legends these days so it's alright.Whilst I agree that he had an admirable confidence to challenge the protesters in debate I wouldn't personally promote anyone who is against abortion even when rape or incest has occurred as a legend. Personally I would call them a deranged, out of touch religious extremist and would happily debate the man on his arguments.
Further to this I found his comment in an interview with the BBC where he said 'they weren't going to hit me, they were British' very peculiar. Whilst I am getting really fed up with some of the PC bullshit going on at the moment where everyone is so offended by everything, JRM is one of the most disgustingly out of touch humans on the planet. One man's backbone is another man's delusion.
No, he shouldn't be attacked. Likewise, he shouldn't be talked about as a future PM.
If you want a comparison with Boris and a politician from the past, I reckon a better bet is Clement Freud (avoiding all reference to allegations of abuse). Freud wasn't a particularly good MP, he also wasn't particularly political other than an innate wishy-washy kind of liberalism (small 'l'), a hint of noblesse oblige and more than anything he was most interested in massaging his ego with TV, radio and newspaper columns. Fortunately, the Liberals in the 70s and early 80s were so irrelevant that he was (politically) harmless.
