Wharton is every pundit's go to for the youth spot in Tuchel's squad.
I suspect Hinsh will get overlooked because of the narrative around Wharton.

Not unhappy about Jack staying under the radar.
Room for both? Rice and Bellingham are clearly first choice in centre of the park, but after that....? Connor Gallagher is playing well for Atletico at top of La Liga, but Mainoo is falling away. Curtis Jones, Morgan Gibbs-White, will Tuchel pick Angel Gomes again.... yeah guess probably too many names in the way.

Doesn't life feel better with Jack back in the side and in the right position? Yes, I know he played at Forest, but with the team we had out that day and no defensive mid cover, he did remarkably well despite the result and his long period out injured. He was great last night.

I just think he's such an intelligent footballer. Great technical skills, vision & awareness of his team mates, isn't afraid to get stuck in (it was pleasing to see him go after Cucurella at one point). Local lad. gets "it". We shouldn't be in a position where we've really missed a 19 year old with barely one full season under his belt, but I really think we have. He's an unbelievably calm, reassuring presence for one so young.

Long may he stay fit.
He is key, and his influence will continue to grow, a future Captain if he isn't snatched by a money club.

**I recall last season's debacle at Villa Park, I was lamenting the result and no beer in the upper tier, but... was discussing JH with others and we agreed that he showed some bright promise even on a day when we were given a complete and utter shoe-ing.

Gallagher fallen away at athletico.

But .... Probably need a 10-15 more games like that before he gets considered for England. Plenty of time. We definitely don't want him in the next squad, massive distraction.

Jack will be called for the under 21s. They will keep an eye on his development there.

Certainly given the injury issues he's had this year, there's no need to rush

As I and others have said before, the new Gross . . . . With a header and A bit more agression, in a good way.

I really hope he continues to thrive with us.
If you’re listing his upgraded attributes when comparing to Pascal then you can add more pace to that list too !

That was in October, he started their next 3 Champions League games so his performance couldn't have been that bad. What is probably more pertinent is he's he's been subbed off at half time of the last 3 La Liga games he started and then found himself on the bench for the last 5 fixtures. Although I may be reading too much into the half time subbings as Diego Simone seems to like them as Gallagher has also come on as a half time sub himself a couple of times.
