Had my Tonsils out at the old Ear nose and throat Hospital in 1950. Lovely view of St. Nicholas Churchyard from the ward. Scary.

The ENT site is easy to spot as was replaced by a long, skinny, building. Turn up the hill from Queens Rd and it's on your left. There's little else on that side, before you get to St Nicks.

As for so few knowing the answers. maybe it's because some have you on their 'ignore' list, which is a shame as they miss the few gems among your mainly crass posts.
