Why I hate Lefties.
It has nothing to do with politics. There is no crime in being wrong or totally ignorant about economics, its not as if the right is immune from these failures either.
The reason I dont like lefties any more is to do with the culture war. Thier are 2 types of lefty, liberal and authoritarian. The left is in hock at the moment to authoritarian attitudes, cultural marxism. Quick to resort to calling people isms and ophobics, abusing sections of the media with out making a substantial point. The liberal left are to stupid or scared to do anything but go along with it. Hence it becomes reasonable to intimidate leftwingers, after all thats what they are doing.
This thread though is just the weeping of the vanquished as another section of the left goes through its death throws in a most verbal and bitter mannner.
I approve of this thread.

it is annoying. Labour spent 13 years blaming various failings on the previous adminstration, which got pretty tedious.
i think the ideals from Thatherism are partially responsible. you can have anything and everything, if you work for it. unfortunatly that condition wasnt emphasised as much as it should have been. you can also blame policies going back to the 60s though, with some overridding principles from socialist side: some one will fix it, for you its not your fault, dont be competitive, everyone is equal and should be treated the same. the problems have come from the clash of these two ideologies. we end up with: you can have anything, if you cant obtain it then we'll find some way of making sure you can.

But personally,it's Gordon Brown's fault.

Fair point. Whats the betting that the tories, as happened before, will have the economy sorted out when Labour eventually take over again & they they will totally f*** things up again!!

Intelligent input! Thanks mate! I would respond with how many hours its been since my gorgeous wife and I were that way acquianted but its nobody elses business. Sadly she's at work (you might have to look that up) tonight so i'm bored sat on here.

Thatcher distroyed this country, taking away every industry she could, destroying whole communities and lives in the process. She created the massive poverty gap we have at the moment and the amount of funding she cut from the NHS letting poor people die was a disgrace. When she finally croaks it I for one will be having a massive party and hoping that her death was a painful one.
Whilst this country (including my husband) continue to blame her for the trials and tribulations of modern England, then you will all forget that you need to look to the future and move on from the past....until you do, you will never progress.....rather simple concept really. She didn't f*** up as much as you think, irrespective you need to get over it.
