Last year 73 would have been enough, 70 in 2009/10, 74 in 2008/9, and 70 in 2007/8

I've done a very unbiased (I think) prediction and we end up 8th but only 2 points behind Birmingham in 6th - Only 1 more win would see us scrape in! But I do think we seem to have been on the verge of clicking into gear and hammering someone soon - hopefully Birmingham then!

I have us sneaking in 6th place despite only picking up 9 points. Although Boro played well on Saturday they haven't won in 6 and have a tough run-in, so think we will pip them and cARDIFF.

I did this with my son before the Middlesborough game (which we both predicted to be 1-1), and I had us in 6th with 73 points. My son also got us on 73 points, but other results diferent so he had 7th.

It is definitely going to be tight. If we are still 6th or above after West Ham we will be okay, but I suspect we will be 8th by then and then face having to get seven points from Watford, Birmingham, and Barnsley which is not impossible.

That's very similar to mine actually. Us on 71 in 8th place missing out by 3 points. I only have Reading ahead of West Ham different from the teams above compared to yours.

I am notoriously pessimistic with these things though. Too many draws will cost us I reckon. Not that I'd be in anyway shape or form disappointed with this season if that were to happen.
